Calling has always been an easy process.

I am a 78 year old, living in WA. I was involved in an accident on December 21st, 2023. I have full insurance through Progressive and my adjuster has been wasting my time, stringing me out to dry and failing to execute on every level. It's been 46 days and I have not received an estimate of record to proceed with the completion of my claim. I have contacted Progressive over 30 times by email and phone. I believe that Progressive has enacted a series of policies that seek to purposefully and systemically delay and/or discourage claims to be filed and resolved, which has had dramatic impact on their net income (which is up 141%).Best,Carolyn

I have been taken care of in a way no insurance company has done before. I am super happy with my hand being held the entire way in getting my car issue resolved.

Worst insurance company I don't want to renew with going further. Looks like they want to make money onlyOn Oct 24th, I called to inquire to change my driver's license from international to Texas and ensure that I know my new premium amount for next 6 months. I was told by the agent, on 24th that the amount was 1016$ and that there would be no change to it.On Nov 10th, there was a notice on the app (no email sent) that 296 was due and there was a late payment of 10$ and the new amount was 306$On Dec 26th, before making the payment, I called progressive and asked the question on the call which happened on Oct 24th, the 1st agent confirmed that misinformation was given but the premium increased.I asked for the supervisor who checked, put me on hold and transferred me to another department.I explained my situation to a third person and by now I was on a one hour call, talking to multiple people who didn't answer my original question of the misinformation (as per the first agent) and finally hung up on me.Bad service, bad ethics.I am going to the BBB and probably other legal side as one thing I cannot tolerate is unethical companies

20 years being their customer. Sad to leave but can't afford to stay because they want me to add my adult kids who don't drive my car to the policy. Just can't afford that. I'm not kicking the kids out either!

Don’t let rates fool you. Service is horrible. Signed up on September 11. Started policy and paid agreeing to 94 a month for my boat on recorded line to accept the auto payments. They took next payment out on Oct 11 with no problem. I get an email saying I will be canceled if I don’t make my payment. I call to pay or figure out why they didn’t do as they already had. They told me I know have to pay 358 to keep insurance cause I didn’t sign a payment form that I was never told of. I said send it to me and I’ll pay you and you can do as I authorized you to do so on the phone. Rather than take the payment and continue to do so they refused and said 358 or nothing. If they provide this service over taking your money…. Imagine how much of a fight you’ll have getting paid. I’ll cancel and find a place that wants their customers and can acknowledge when they are wrong.

My neighborhood experienced vandalism, and 50 cars' tires were slashed, mine got 3!!! Had to get it towed, and of course go to work... took photos, got a police report. Progressive does not care. They will not do anything for you if they don't get to see the car first, before fixing. They are frigging tires for God sake, I took photos!!! So mad they won't do anything. And my agent hasn't responded in over a week. His voice mail actually states, "do not leave more than 1 message, it won't make me call you back sooner"

For more than three years, Progressive Insurance was good and the premiums and coverages are at par withDirect dealings with Progressive is far better, instead of agents or brokers.

I was hit and the other insurance company was progressive. It was nothing but a hassle. My car never was fixed completely. Haven't been able to get a call back from any body. And it seen nobody really even knows what time it is or who's doing what. Every person gave me a different story or promise. None of them really knew what they were doing or saying, because none of it were true.

Be very careful with this company. I canceled my insurance policy because they upped the rates and found a better price but they still pulled money out of my account and when I talk to customer service, they basically told me I’m an idiot and we’re very rude I know for a fact that I did not authorize that charge. Very unprofessional business. I asked to speak with a manager, and she told me that I authorized the charge knowing damn well I DID NOT! Then she hung up on me. Do not give your money to these clowns! Very, very unprofessional. I’m in Seattle Washington and she wouldn’t give her full name to me or how to reach her with any more questions. So guess I’ll let my attorney deal with the rest of this nonsense.

This insurance company has the lowest rating on the US news, and it was rated less than four stars. As a eight years diamond customer, I finally realized how rubbish your work efficiency and attitude is. One of the representative in my region called me once. I returned his call, but he did not answer. I texted him and he didn't respond. The manual customer service can only be forwarded to him to work on my case. He said he return works on Monday, and now it's Thursday and he still hasn't gotten back to me. My case has been going on for a month with no progress.

Progressive only communicates via email even for time critical requests. In addition you get other email from them regularly which it makes it so you must read every email they send. Unfortunately I didn’t know this and they made a request that I did not see. They then chose to cancel my policy without my knowledge and left me without insurance for a couple days until I noticed the deposit of my refund for my 6 month advance premium payment. They didn’t even attempt to robo call me or text me. Low prices but you can get similar prices from Geico with better service.

Overpaid my SR22 Insurance by almost 2 years and theres not a single thing they could help with due to "laws" . Obviously Insurance is a Ponzi scheme because they have no way of generating revenue other then taking it from you and pretending to offer a service. I REPEAT THEY DO NOT GENERATE REVENUE UNLESS ITS IN THE FORM OF YOUR MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION

I have auto insurance that was canceled without notification, after I paid for it. They just wanted me to update my ID which was in the mail. To continue having a policy the price doubled. It's a scam and the gov doesn't care.
