Horrid customer!! Had to call the call for assistance after waiting 5 minutes. Teller came to the window eating and ia taking way longer rhan necessary to depoait check Came first and left second. Been here over 20 minutes and they making an error and questioning about new caccounts. Rhey are horrible. The bad hair day boy working and eating is horrible thus bank is trash and I will not be having any money direct deposited here

Maybe it’s better in the drive through… but I often have to wait outside a couple minutes. It’s not awful, and the staff is kind - but it’s not ideal. Truly 4 stars

They approved my husband for an account, a standard checking account, and then we get our debit card today. And it won’t activate, so we called the customer helpline and they told us our card has been reported lost which was weird since we JUST RECEIVED IT, she did some more investigating and it turns out Umpqua decided to terminate the contact with my husband and close his account with in a week. With our money still in the account. So we are getting sent a check. Don’t bank with these people.

I’m on an account that has new signers every year. They are wonderful and make everything so easy and efficient. I usually work with Rhonda, she’s amazing. I saw a review about long drive through lines that is way off base from my experience. I do drive up deposits once a month and there is usually no car in front of me, sometimes just one. I’ve never waited more than 5 mins in 2 years.

My son (who is a child) brought all the money he'd been saving from washing cars & mowing grass to open an acct. 3 of the checks (none over $25) were drawn on an acct that had been closed. They charged him $30 per check (he had just over $300 initially) even though all he did was deposit them. When I asked them to wave the fee (sine a) it was more than the amount on the checks b) he never tried to cash them out, so the bank lost NOTHING & c) He's a kid & this is his 1st experience using a bank they refused. Then when we decided this isn't the bank for us, & tried to close the account (after we found out they took 1/3 of his $) they said they would charge us to take our money out before 90 days.

I've been with this bank since 2014. Never really had any issues and do my best to manage my money in ways to avoid overdraft charges. I bill everything on my Discover card and pay it off every month. Thus, I haven't interacted much with Umpqua customer service all these years until this past week or so.Let me tell you. This bank harbors the most morally, ethically, intellectually, and professionally bankrupt individuals you will ever come across. They have closed their lobby due to Covid-19 and told me to use their drive-thru to deposit a check.The wicked bank representative disregarded I didn't have a vehicle. And they don't provide an ATM for pedestrian access. They told me over the phone to enter and wait outside with all the vehicles entering drive-thru. When I asked if I can schedule an appointment, I was told they don't have any availability and hung up the phone.When Covid-19 restrictions are lifted, I am running away from this bank. They are highly unprofessional, sketchy, and disregard their own customers safety.I was able to download Umpqua bank app and deposit my check. I don't why the representative couldn't tell me this. I can't wait to close my account and you should too if you believe in being treated with DIGNITY.

Drive thru service horrible. Waited over 20 minutes in line just to make a deposit. Hard to imagine since the lobby is closed and drive thru is the only thing open. Very disappointed and very serious about changing banks because of this. Horrible experience.

Always been very quick, friendly, since Covid struck can only use drive thru & not open Saturdays now which is the most convenient time for me to go. Friendly staff, not a lot of turnover of employees, and they're dog friendly, let you bring in your dog's and always have treats for the pups.
