I went to this location to have a passport photo taken. Unfortunately, the background quality was poor—I won’t go into all the details. I asked them to retake the photo, explaining that there are official requirements: the background must be solid white, with no visible objects. They repeated the same setup, and the second attempt even had visible shadows.
I pointed out that this clearly doesn’t meet the standard—no textures, no shadows, plain white background—but was told, “This is the best we can do.”
If you’re planning to get passport or immigration photos taken here, I recommend being cautious and confirming in advance that they can meet the proper specifications.
I would like to clarify a situation that occurred during my recent visit to your office. Unfortunately, I initially went to the wrong location. When I mentioned this to one of your staff members, he responded in a manner that felt quite rude and unprofessional. When I asked for confirmation, he insisted he was serious.
Not wishing to prolong the situation or cause any disruption, I decided to leave and visit a different office where I completed my transaction and paid again for the photo.
I wanted to bring this to your attention, as I value professionalism and good customer service, and I hope this feedback is helpful.

I would like to bring to your attention an experience I had at your office located at 31811 Pacific Hwy S B, Federal Way, WA 98003. I visited this location to have a passport photo taken. However, upon reviewing the photo, I noticed a visible line in the background behind my head, which I understand does not comply with official passport photo standards.
When I pointed this out and referred to the photo guidelines, the staff member told me that the photo was acceptable. I respectfully asked whether he was joking, given the clear inconsistency with the standards, and he responded that he was being completely serious.
At that point, I no longer felt comfortable proceeding and decided not to spend more time at this location. I went to another office and paid again to have my photo retaken properly, in line with the correct specifications.
I am sharing this feedback not to complain, but to encourage higher attention to detail and better customer service, especially in matters related to official documentation.

This location is TERRIBLE! I dropped off a package on Sunday, today is Tuesday and they haven't even shipped it.... Save yourself the trouble and don't bring time sensitive packages to this location 😒

DO NOT COME HERE FOR PASSPORT PHOTOS. Each UPS store is different so literally go anywhere else but here and you will have a better experience. My children and I came here to get our passport photos, we had an appointment. The quality of the photos are terrible and 2 out of 3 of the photos were rejected at the passport office. This store is not properly set up here to do passport photos but they will happily take your money and give you low quality photos. I came back and they let me take new ones but even then I had to tell him to re print it again because the head size was too big.

If I can give zero stars, I will. USD20 for two passport size photos, add 5 for digital - now the digital ones they sent are blurry and unusable. Yet, if you ask for a refund - they will ask you to go back to their store and get your measly 5. Go somewhere else except for this UPS. This branch is close to Trapper's Sushi. Will use an iPhone from now on. Avoid!
Update: Even the prints are blurry and have shadows.

Paid $250 for a Tuesday am delivery and it’s arriving Wednesday am.
I was very clear that it had to be there Tuesday morning and he said it would be expensive. I paid the money and it is coming a day later

I brought an amazon return on the original packaging, but it only needed a strip of tape, They requested $1.5 for that little strip of tape, and I refused just by principles, they should treat better their customers. I changed it to take it to amazon fresh instead.
They will be losing business for refusing a free strip of tape.

I stopped by the Federal Way UPS store to drop a package. I walked in the store and asked if it could borrow a tape gun and was told no. How much tape did the employee use on my shipping tube top? One strip and that's not enough to secure it package without worries.

I went to return some items to Amazon and at first I had selected the wrong return on the Amazon website which would have required me to supply a box and label. Unfortunately the 2 male workers were not very helpful stating that I would need to pay $8 for a box and label. I stood aside and started trying to cancel my return and redo it. I was having issues and Jessie came out from the back and was incredibly helpful. She was very patient with me helping me update the return so that I could do it for free from this location. The site was being frustrating so it took about 15 mins off and on of her assistance. She went above and beyond! I returned yesterday to do another return and Jessie helped me again. She was so incredibly positive, kind and patient. I wasn't particularly happy with the first workers my first trip because they weren't helpful, but Jessie saved the day. UPS is very lucky to have this employee at this location. She is a great asset to your company and provides exceptional customer service.

Just stopped in to ask about a personal mailbox and got a document printed.
The purple shirt-wearing guy that helped me had the best vibe, and honestly, the morning & last couple of days have been sad, stressful, annoying, etc.
This UPS store employee somehow lifted my spirits.
I don't know if that's his real personality, or if it's hos "customer service persona" either way, he seemed genuine & i got the impression he actually enjoys helping people.
(I withessed him help other people too)
The other employees seemed cool too, I didn't really interact with them.
As far as services offered, they have a lot.
Anyway, thanks again for the information today, and I hope you all at the store today have been told you did good work today, (and everyday, I imagine )
Thanks for showing up today & inspiring me to ne more outging at work

I visited the Federal Way UPS store this past Saturday and I was extremely pleased with my experience. I had placed a large order on Amazon and had 12 items that I needed to return. I felt bad going to the UPS store with 12 different Amazon packages to return at 4pm on a Saturday. I was greeted by Teyinna when I walked in. She was very helpful and made this a very pleasant experience. She was very patient as I had to scroll through my phone to find each of the individual return labels.
I highly recommend this UPS location!! Teyinna and the other staff members were very helpful, patient, & kind.

Had a horrible experience at the Campus Drive UPS store, so I brought my item here and was very happy with the service. Nick was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional which made me feel confident that my item was in good hands. I’ll be returning to this store in the future.
