I called to check the in-stock status of an OTC product and the person that answered said she would transfer me to the pharmacy, and put me on hold. While I was on hold, I was able to get on the bus, get off, walk half a mile to the store, find the item and purchase it at the front register before confirming that I was still on hold and had never been transferred to the pharmacy. This took, according to my phone logs, 20 minutes and 7 seconds.
Now I do not blame the young lady on the register. I blame the 2 managers I passed by, doing nothing while she took care of a line 4 customers deep. I blame the associate or security guard, sitting on a chair by the front door staring at his phone propped up on a display, doing nothing helpful. I blame the corporate end, too focused on profits at the expense of not hiring enough people and not paying enough to retain worthwhile employees.
By all rights, given that I received 0 customer service I should have just grabbed the item and walked out without paying. Fortunately for the company, I have some morals, which is more than I can say for the people who run it.
If I wanted to have a shopping experience where I struggled fruitlessly with an AI to try and figure out what I am clearly asking for, to be ignored by an underpaid minimum wage employee, and have no human interaction in order to get my product, I would have shopped at Amazon rather than attempt to support a brick and mortar business in my community. It would have cost me less and I wouldn't have to walk a mile while listening to terrible hold music.

Absolute trash. Had some prescriptions sent there and called and called to confirm they were received, no one ever answered the phone. So my husband went over in person and they had closed 4 hours early without anything on their phone message or website.

I had to pick up some medication after I got out of the hospital. I was seriously ill. They lost one of my prescriptions. Then I had to wait for 2 hours while they tried to figure it out. They finally figured it out, and now I am getting calls saying it's ready (even though I already got it) and the phone system is broken and won't accept my birthday for me to verify my identity (to tell them I already got it). Insane. If you NEED a medication, go somewhere else.

The staff of grocery and photo center are friendly and helpful. The one star is giving to the pharmacy. Rude and inefficient! The worst pharmacy I have ever been.

Common complaint. They say they have things in stock, you drive out, and none of it is in stock. Dont trust the website. Wasted time

Despite calling in my prescription refill two days early they claim they are out when I come to get them. They claim they are constantly running low on this medication even though it is incredibly common. Now I have to go cold turkey for a day on a medication that is dangerous to suddenly stop.

I went to get a photo for my passport, I was waiting for someone to help me and no one showed up for 20 minutes. or more...then I looked for an employee and the only thing I received was a sarcastic and bad-tempered employee, she told me that I had to wait because she didn't work there, then I asked again, she only with a look of contempt said that she didn't have time to attend and I'd better come back the next day....it's the 2nd time that same employee has touched me. She is rude and despicable.... Walgreens should do something with their employees, or they should close it...don't go there...

Literally standing in front of the door right now and they were supposed to open at 8 o'clock and the door is not open. It's literally freezing and I double checked on the website. They are definitely supposed to be open right now.

Far and away the single worst Walgreen’s store I have ever been to. This place is a disgrace that should be closed and then burned to the ground.I moved to Auburn in 2023 and immediately tried to transfer my prescriptions to this location. The person who helped me said it was done. Never heard from them again. No texts or calls to tell me my meds were ready. Zip. Zilch. Nada.When I returned for my meds they said they had no info in the system for me.Fast forward six months.I was injured at work Friday and the meds were sent there, much to my alarm. I went by Saturday at 6 pm and the pharmacy was closed. Went by Sunday (today) at 1:45 and it was open.After the staff helped the person immediately ahead of me on line they pulled the metal gate down for lunch and shut it in my face. At this rate I really don’t need the meds any more.In sum, this place is garbage and the people who work there are a disgracw to the medical profession.What can management do to make it better?Don’t bother retraining. Fire.
