The Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center is a great facility and a marvel for swimming events. It is a beautiful, spacious, and clean pool with plenty of stadium seating. The location is excellent for swim meets, with good concessions and plenty of bathrooms. Staff are great and instructors are knowledgeable and professional. Private swim lessons are highly recommended. However, the steep stairs in the seating area have no handrails and can be difficult, especially for those with mobility issues. Parking is an issue for large events and the lot is not super well lit, though overflow parking is available nearby. The concession stand is not always open.
Always love the staff and volunteers when we go for State special Olympics swimming. The location Any be beat! This only thing better would be to have handrails for those not able to walk well

Very nice facility. I was here watching the MATE ROV competition. I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy some French fries while I was in the stands watching the kids compete.
