I want to address the negative review left by my uncle, Roy (Ab Studios) I was deeply saddened to see such a misleading and unfair reflection of this wonderful staff. First and foremost, he was not my grandmother’s only son—she was also the loving mother of my uncle Allen. The truth is, when he visited my grandmother near the end of her life, he was cold and distant — even my grandmother noticed it and told him, “You are not my son; my son wouldn’t be so cold and distant to me.” His review comes not from grief or love, but from resentment and self-interest. It pains me to have to say this publicly, but I cannot let his false words diminish the good work and compassion this funeral home truly provided.
