In the middle of that, Nellie’s mother suddenly realized she wished she had a sign in book for attendees and asked me if I could find a piece of paper for it. Brian overheard and was there in moments with a simple book & pen for her. He has stayed in touch, making his weekly bereavement support available to any of us at no charge, on a drop in basis as needed, with no strings attached. Brian has been at the forefront of green burial in our community for decades. I knew I could turn to him again. He handled my father’s death in 2012, and green burials for several friends in the years since. We’re so lucky to have him here.”
