“Absolutely love The coffee here and the toffee is amazing and the fact that they have a meeting room open for people to book is fantastic! The whole team is absolutely amazing and I love coming here to hang out!”

“I am a local Whatcom County realtor and I look for local restaurants, hardware stores, and a shop like Surroundings to give closing gifts to clients. From Birch Bay to Lynden and Ferndale sales - Surrounding is a great place to purchase a gift certificate to pass off to new homeowners! I have become more popular with clients arming them with a good certificate and recommendation to Surroundings. These clients get back to me and will later show me in person or with photos what they were able to find for home decor! Great people at the store. I also buy gifts and find things that endear me to others and family also! Presentation with wrapping and even the certificate are outstanding.”
“The folks at Ideal are an absolute treat to work with. I came in looking for a gift for 13 (!) people (our bridesmaids). They only had 5 in stock of the piece I wanted, but Kathleen immediately called the artisan and asked if she could make more before I left in two days. She corresponded with me over text regarding the details and when they were ready to pick-up. This was a clear reminder why shopping local makes a big difference. Ideal is our go-to for gifts.”
“Cute little flower shop I passed by while in town.
I stopped in to grab a small bouquet for my friend, the bride-to-be. The woman at the front was so pleasant and helpful—she let me pick out some of the flowers myself and put everything together quickly and beautifully.
When I mentioned the flowers wouldn’t be going into a vase for a while, she offered to add water to the bottom and wrapped them up nicely to keep them fresh. Great service and a lovely little spot!”
“Echo's paintings contain such beautiful, vibrant colors and amazing details. I can get lost in them for hours. Being able to go to her gallery and see so many of her amazing paintings in one place is truly a gift and I urge everyone to go there as soon as possible and support this wonderful artist.”
“Came here after a San Juan cruise for whale watching. It is located in the ferry terminal. The store is small compared to other gift shops, but found a lot of cute souvenirs to buy. The pricing of items were fair. The employee working was very nice and pleasant. Definitely check out if in the area! Also, since we went on the whale watching tour, we received a 10% discount!”
“Paper Dreams has been here for decades. There is something for everyone, including a classy old-school candy store with candies from around the world, and house-made fudge. In the 80s the fudge never had artificial colors or weird flavors though, and I wish they didn’t do that so much now. But maybe that’s what sells!”
“Lovely lil gift shop but overpriced?Their smallest plushie goes for $27. One that was a medium size went for $51?I probably won’t come back unless they drop their prices a lil. No one expects to pay $$$ for a few plushies.”

“I came by the booth for Candi's Jewelry & Gifts at the Seattle Mineral Market this weekend and was impressed with their selection! The items were beautiful with reasonable prices. My purchase came with a stand, and I already have it on display. Thank you!”
