I have done my own car repair since my first (age 15, ‘65), until recently, when my ‘64 Volvo 122S needed steering/suspension work and I was unable because (long story). Fortunately I found Muscle Car Beach. Owners Pete (chief mechanic/artisan) and Shelby (wife/book-keeper/etc,) treated me right. Kudos also to their apprentice (Sam (?)). I spent a pleasant morning hanging out there while Pete “got it done”. The cost seemed quite reasonable. If I’m ever again in such a situation I won’t hesitate to use Muscle Car Beach again, but I think they should truck in some sand, place some lawn chairs, surf board etc. outside. C’mon, you have plenty of room out there!

I had a long list of items to fix on my 1986 Olds 442. Peter checked everything off the list and did a great job on everything! Great communication along the way. I would highly recommend Muscle Car Beach & Peter to anyone.

Can't recommend this company. Pete and his wife are super nice to be fair (hence 2 stars instead of 1). Pete charged me $7,000 on my 67 Mustang. It ran before getting it there (bottle fed) and had partial brakes. He replaced the master cylinder and put on a new carb. I now have a $7k master cylinder and carb. Not even a kickdown or filter were installed with that charge. Car is in the same condition as before and is not drivable. A huge portion of the charges were for him to research on the internet. Huge regret taking it there. I'm looking over the car now and not impressed.
Edit after MC Beach response: let me add more context... all the bracketry for the trans was included which I mentioned when I dropped it off. I found this in the box that I left you which you either didn't bother to look, or didnt see. You do realize that you did absolutely nothing for the alignment? It's worse now than ever. Claiming it didn't have an oil dipstick (which I mentioned) so you fixed that!?! You put an oil dipstick in there for a front sump pan! It has a rear sump... I guess I will have to double check your work on that as well. By your standards I should start from scratch because it indicates you guys did everything else wrong. I will gladly continue this conversation all that you want but I feel I was pretty well scammed out of $7k.

If you need your classic tinkered with or fully gone through, this is the place to do it. I trusted them to work on my 2 Cadillac station wagons & I will trust them to continue working on them in the future. Can't recommend enough, really solid work.

Outstanding job! I brought in my '72 C10 for a 3/5 drop and it turned out perfect. We were advised of progress made throughout the process and were given all the details so we could document the work performed since the truck was all original. Very professional and I would highly recommend MCB to anyone. Eric.

Muscle Car Beach is a little off the beaten path for most of us but well worth the trip. 3 hours away for me but I couldn't be happier. I had some rusted floor repaired, among other things, and it turned out great. Workmanship is amazing and, the project came in under budget. What's not to like about that!!!

Peter and Shelby are great to work with. Always very pleasant and always straight forward on what needs to be done. MCB replaced the floor pan in my '71 Mustang and I couldn't be happier with the work and their process. Their invoices are very detailed on what's been done, and they're super easy to communicate with. I know that the next time I bring them my car, it'll be getting the best care, and it'll be in good hands. Thanks again MCB!

I can’t express how impressed I am. My 1966 new port that was my grandmothers bought new in 66. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. If you want top notch service, with someone you can trust and his family is wonderful.
Thank you for keeping the classic rolling!

I am so grateful to have met Peter and Shelby Harksell @ Muscle Car Beach. Peter was able to address all my concerns with my 67’ Cougar. He did a fantastic job tuning the carburetor and making her purrr like a kitten 😊 He also did a fantastic job with the electric sequential blinker conversion kit. Everything is working perfectly. Thank you so much. I highly recommend!!

I am so grateful that I was referred to Peter and his wife's shop! I had been searching for a car maintenance and repair shop in Whatcom that would work on my 1976 Cutlass. Peter really understands, and obviously enjoys working on older vehicles and muscle cars. I have only been their once, but they have definitely earned my trust and future business. If you have on older rig, this is the place to take it!

Peter rewired my 65 Cadillac Eldorado. Everything was on budget and finished within the time frame he originally told me. I had regular updates on what was completed on the car each week. It was a great experience and I would recommend Muscle Car Beach to anybody.
