Allied showed up when they said they would, they moved everything and wrapped what I couldn’t. The guys did a great job. There was a10 day window, but we were moving four states over, and a tire blew on the truck! So I get the extended move time for just in case! Victor held it all together, and was great! I really appreciate all he had to go through to get our things to us. Great job guys. Thank you Chelsey for all your communication and follow through! I appreciate all you guys do! Thank you!

Coleman Allied was efficient and delivered all property undamaged. Driver navigated his long trailer down a long driveway in the storage facility.
Thank you for the excellent service.

Absolutely not. not only did he talk my 80 yr old mom out of stuff to be moved so he could have stuff, but he put excess amount on the end of the move. He did not move things in, but extended the move in and claimed we waited till later. He stole and manipulated the move. I hope I find him... Will make things right.
Broke so many things.

I have moved across the country multiple times over the years. This has easily been the WORST experience I have ever had. From poor packing, no communication about delivery dates, to MANY completely destroyed items delivered. Just shockingly terrible.

The movers themselves at our starting points were wonderfully efficient, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. The movers at our final destination were awesome at communicating while bringing in our belongings and really fast. At the management level, however, the ones who coordinated our move from taking on our account, finding the movers, keeping track of our shipment, and communicating with the movers were fairly unorganized and didn’t maintain communication with us the customers until prompted by us. We were given a delivery date range of over a week span. We had to call continuously asking whether a driver had been chosen and when we could get a more narrowed down delivery date. I spoke to our designated coordinator once over the phone and maybe once via email but that was in regards to the confusion as to who we were supposed to be talking to with our questions. Not a single person we spoke to could give us a more narrowed down range and told us numerous times they would ask the team and call us back but we never got calls back, we had to call them back. Then on the final day of the delivery date range we were filling out the forms for late delivery reimbursement when the moving truck appeared in our street with no warning. Thank goodness we did not leave for our excursion like we were planning. We were told we would have at least 24 hours notice before the truck came. My partner has moved several states over before with different companies but this was my first experience and I was largely unhappy with the coordination efforts of Allied. When you are moving you want to know your belongings are safe and being taken care of. The idea of the ones you give thousands and thousands of dollars to take care of your things are not communicating with you and can’t even designate a single coordinator of your belongings has put me off of using this company to move ever again. This is not the experience we signed up for. Be prepared to put in more mental legwork with Allied even when you hire them for putting in the physical legwork.

Terrible experience. First, the packers couldn’t finish the job. One of them was more interested in taking the stuff I was throwing away rather than packing. The loaders, the majority of them walked off the job telling my wife the pay was too low. Upon delivery I discovered $3,000 of Items were missing and broken. If my claim isn’t resolved I will be filling a complaint with the BBB.

The assigned move coordinator was nearly impossible to track down and it took hounding the main office to get assistance. Thousands of dollars worth of belongings including irreplaceable family heirlooms were damaged, destroyed or outright missing. The load inventory was inaccurate and incomplete. I was foolish enough to trust that the forms I signed at loading were accurate as they didn’t give me enough time read through them. At unloading the security cameras I had mounted in the garage “mysteriously” came off its mount luckily I still have audio as it records 24/7 and the footage from that at 2 other cameras have been saved. Items that do t belong to us were delivered as well. Depending on how the insurance claim process goes we will hold on to those items until all of our belongings are repaired, returned or paid for. If you hire this company record video of EVERYTHING they touch as it will likely get damaged or “misplaced”. I regret spending over $15,000 only for heartache and headache.

I would NEVER use Allied Van Lines of Lakewood, WA again. They did not accurately represent their services. Their pricing is not lower than other reputable carriers and their sales reps do not represent/deliver on what they say or the contract stipulates.
We moved from WA to Idaho and they managed to damage a LOT of our expensive furniture because of poor packing and transportation. WORST moving company we have ever utilized and we've moved 6 times in the last 16 years so I know how a good moving company operates. If you want a reliable and experienced carrier don't use Allied Van Lines - EVER!!!!!

About as good as you could hope from a move. Moving sucks and these guys made it not suck so much. Everything arrived and was all in good shape.
EDIT: I got contacted over a month later regarding the payment method I used (cashier’s check). It looks like the driver somehow lost the check. Long story short, they agreed to wait 90 days until the check auto cancels and the money is refunded to my account. I had to knock a star off my review because it means extra work on my part, but at least they didn’t give me a hassle for making them wait to re-send them the payment.

They made our move pretty smooth. The team was very communicative throughout, on time packing loading and delivery.

Terrible. Delayed delivery multiple times multiple days. Once truck arrived it was evident there was damage and missing items. A queen bed and 2 tables were not even mine. Boxes were crunched, re-taped and upside down. Still assessing all that is missing or damaged.

Hired local Allied Van Line and my move across the US, over 2,700 mile went smoothly, except the freaky snow storm got in a way.
The driver Richard handled his 80-ft truck without a hitch in a tight space. AMAZING!
The cost was less than quoted which was a pleasant outcome since the moving expenses spreads in other areas. Need to save every chance given.
I’ll hire Allied again - Coleman Allied in Washington state did excellent job. Thank you!

They packed my purse and took it to their warehouse. They had to unpack my boxes and finally found it! They offered to fed ex it over night( instead of bringing it back to me ) It took 3 days to arrive. We were flying out in 2 days and I needed my drivers license to board the plane. Luckily they had not packed the box which had my passport. They broke a marble top in half which sat on a small table. It was 60 years old, They did not crate it. There are scratches on my monitor and 2 table tops. The main office in Alabama was very professional as well as the driver and his team who delivered our furniture. We moved from the Seattle area to Northern CA. I would not recommend them.
