“Honestly this review is almost entirely for the gentleman named Kyle with the purple added into his hair - his energy during a rush of endless people was so infectious and a driving positive force in the store ! Absolutely adored his work ethic & chat about his kiddo - upstanding experience because of him”
“Best Dollar Tree in western WA... The reason there are sometimes a longer wait to check out is due to having lots of customers because they are, by far, the best DT in around...”
“This location is awesome! The store constantly stays stocked. The cashier's and every other employee here are very hard working and sweet! If I could give 10 stars I would. Also the managers are amazing!”
“This Dollar tree is a bit larger and better organized and laid out than others I've been to. Though very busy and I went in close to closing, the check out line wasn't too bad”
“This dollar tree has nice things for kids and clean .... i had a good experience shopping there...also there was a squishy cat that was pink and glows in the dark very cool for kids ?”
“This place is great for crafts and holiday garb candy household things. The Toys are just plastic to fill landfills but it’s great for cheap gifts and to entertain my kids. They are learning to manage their money shopping here and learning the value of their dollar. Good variety and can’t beat the price.”
“What can I say about the DT on Washington Ave. in Kent? Well, I've been shopping at this DT since July of 2025. Up to that point, I've never stepped foot inside a DT before, so the stacked aisles, torando-blasted cluttery chaos, and great values hit me all at once, causing somewhat of a slight sensory overload. While I managed to process this eclectic mix of stimuli, the one key point I feel that really made this DT worth shopping at, are the Customer Service Associates who work here. I received friendly, cordial checkout in a timely manner by Linda, who is one of the main cashiers here. Keep in mind, some DT workers are doing double, sometimes triple duties on any given shift, for instance, if there's down-time, a cashier might float over to an aisle and stock product, go to the back and unload freight and scan/account for inventory before heading back to the front to help customers again. This is all done in the name of keeping cost low, for us, the customers. If you can look past the occasional stacks of packed aisles, random (non-sober) customer created chaos, and one register being open on any given time of the day, then you'll have an awesome shopping experience here at the Dollar Tree on Washington Avenue in the Kent Valley.”
“Was very excited to check out the new Dollar tree location in Auburn! I was shocked to see how big the store was. The only thing that was disappointing was the shelves were not fully stocked. Lots of empty spaces which was a bit disappointing because I thought since it was so big and it was a newer store that there would be more merchandise. But I was able to find a few things there that I couldn't find it any other Dollar trees. So that was a plus! Will definitely return.”
“Completely under new management, fully stocked inside new staff. This store has made a complete turnaround. It's in my neighborhood and has lots of fun and useful items”
“All of you people who negatively criticize these stores and complain have no idea how underpaid, overworked, and understaffed this company is. You’ve obviously never worked in retail, specifically a cheap, inhuman company that doesn’t value their employees. Guess how much the “hazard” pay was during COVID??? .25-.75 cents!!!! And the reason the stores are a mess are because the CUSTOMERS don’t care, realize, or respect the store it’s self and how hard these very few employees actually work. My advice, if you pick something up and then decide you don’t want it, put it back where it belongs and stop belligerently ripping through the originally neatly stacked and organized product on the shelves and show some patience when you’re waiting in line! You know gawd dang well that if you go to a store, especially at peak hours, you’re gonna have to wait in line, that’s what being a consumer entails. And while you’re waiting in line, maybe reorganize something that’s out of order or pick up something off the floor, it’ll pass the time and help the overwhelmed and under appreciated employees. Also quit letting your children play in the store like it’s a McDonald’s ball pit, CAUSE ITS NOT! You wanna blame ??? Call the corporate office! They’re the ones that should hear about the strife and struggle that their stores are going through! Then maybe you’ll really see where the problems’s coming from, cause corporate DOSEN’T CARE!!! Their bottom line is money, not people!!! It’s really easy to complain for all of you, but in the time you’ve taken to complain, you could’ve been a kind HUMAN and thought of an actively positive solution to the problem, instead of belittling the other HUMANS that work there. If we as a collective society can’t stop wrongfully and negatively judging others, over something that’s clearly a big corporate problem, not a people problem, then we’re doomed to fail. I wish you could all see how petty and selfish you’re being and stop bickering and blaming each other and start seeing the bigger issues at hand!! Stop passing the blame, stop projecting, stop bullying and take some accountability and time to use your heart instead of your ego and your displaced anger…Put yourselves in the other person’s shoes, get off your high horse, and stop looking down on them with malice, carelessness, shame, disregard, and disrespect and start asking them if they’re ok, or if there’s anything YOU can do to help! NONE OF US HAVE THE RIGHT TO JUDGE! BUT ALL OF US HAVE THE POWER AND ABILITY TO CARE AND HELP!!!”
“This dollar she was awesome!! It was very clean, and it was well stocked!! They seem to have everything I needed. Even the lady that cashed me out was friendly. Not my experience from other dollar stores in this. I was very pleasantly surprised!!”
“The Dollar Store is a convenient haven for budget-conscious shoppers seeking affordability without sacrificing quality. With its wide array of products priced at just a dollar or slightly above, it's the go-to destination for stocking up on everyday essentials, party supplies, and more.
One of the standout features of The Dollar Store is its incredible value for money. From household items to snacks and seasonal decorations, you'll find everything you need at prices that won't break the bank. The affordability makes it an ideal option for those looking to stretch their dollars further without compromising on the items they need.
Moreover, The Dollar Store offers a surprising variety of products, considering its budget-friendly nature. While some items may be generic brands or smaller sizes, there are often name-brand products available, offering customers a mix of options to choose from.
However, it's worth noting that the quality of items can vary, as is expected with such low prices. While some products may exceed expectations, others may fall short in terms of durability or performance. Additionally, the layout of some stores can be cluttered or disorganized, making it a bit of a treasure hunt to find what you're looking for.
Overall, The Dollar Store earns a solid four stars for its unbeatable prices, extensive selection, and convenience. It's a reliable destination for everyday essentials and budget-friendly finds, making it a staple for thrifty shoppers everywhere.”
“Overall it's a good place to shop. Depending on what you're looking for absolutely. Just be sure to double check the prices of your items. Not everything is a $1.25. Prices are upto $5.
Dollar Tree is a great place to shop if you're on a budget.”
“I like this store, they have pretty good stuff, I also like on how they have some clearance for $0.25 cents. Now sometimes other stores have good weekly sales for $1.00 so shop wisely and look for those sales on the other stores. P.s. love there $1.50 dog toys and cat litter and other stuff you would pay an arm and a leg. So go to the dollar store.”
