We drive 30+ min from Parkland to get their chicken and Joe's because no one else can make them right! This place is an out of the way - undercover GEM!!! Always worth the drive, and I won't get chicken and Joe's from anywhere else! Sorry about the kinda big order tonight. We were craving. Thank you kitchen staff. Been here many, many times, and usually the service is good and the food is decent. This morning I was helped by someone who must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed.
While waiting for some items to be cooked, she went to ring me up for the other items I had. I told her we could wait ringing the first stuff up and just ring it all up together when the items came out of the kitchen. She seemed frustrated and I asked her what was wrong - she told me she didn't like the way I was talking to her, and that I was being condescending - I told her I was just saying we could ring it all up at one time, she mumbled something about just doing what she'd been told.
I have no idea what triggered her, being condescending is not my style, so go figure.
Hard to remember when I've ever been treated so rudely in a food establishment before.
One of the other ladies apologized a couple of times to me, which was appreciated.
Geez, if she didn't like working with the public, she should probably find a different line of work!

They wait until you are asleep and then tell you That you have to pay the park here. I have to agree with the other post. The ladies in there are very rude. The 2 gentlemen that I talk to were understanding and helpful. If you like to overpaying for gas station food, this is a place for you. Woke up this morning to another one of the ladies yawn at me.Telling me that she was going to call the tribal police if I did not leave immediately.
