I had an amazing experience at Volvo of Tacoma purchasing my new 2024 Volvo XC60. Michael Moyer is an amazing sales professional. I recommend working with him if you have a chance. He made the process extremely easy providing all the information I needed to make my decision. The finance process just as easy as the sales process. Zena, The Finance Manager, was extremely knowledgeable about the available products and got us in and out very quickly.

These folks take customer service seriously. I've worked closely with Alex and Forrest on different visits to Volvo Cars Tacoma and on both instances, I felt highly valued and received thoughtful, transparent communication. Having a car with an issue isn't a position any car owner wants to be in... but it sure helps to go to a place where folks like Alex and Forrest take good care of you while they figure it out!

Really frustrating experience with this dealership. We have a 2004 V70R that my partner scheduled an appointment for. She never spoke to a person to do so, she instead was directed through an automated service to schedule the appointment. The automated service asked the year/make/model of the car, so they had that information from the start. The car unfortunately broke down last night and we had to pay over $200 to get it towed to the dealership, where we had a service appointment to investigate the issue that caused it to break down. We just got a call this morning that they are refusing to work on the car. The service department stated that they don't work on cars older than 2004 because they "can't get parts for them." Now we have to pay to tow the car somewhere else. Obviously we wouldn't have left the car there if we would have known they couldn't work on it, why would we? Why would they let you make a service appointment for a car they *know* they won't work on? Why waste everyone's time? If you are going to require customers to make appointments through a machine, make sure the machine is accurate - something that I cannot imagine is terribly complicated. Or, even easier, have your customers make appointments with a person to avoid all of this trouble in the first place. What a genuinely aggravating experience. We're in the market, too, but I guarantee we won't be coming here.

I called to get service on my wife's car. Their phone line didn't work for 2.5 hours. After finally getting through to make a service appointment a very friendly person at the front desk answered. She was helpful. Then transferred me to the service department. Then a computer picked up the phone and made it impossible to figure out a time that works to drop off a car for an oil change and routine maintenance. It wanted me to tell what routine service I need. I dont know the answer, the car says to take it in for service. Then it wanted to know if I would wait for the car or drop it off. It could not tell me what service I needed or how long it would take so I have no way to answer this question. The computer wanted me to tell it what to do. I am not the service debarment and do not know what they need to do for routine maintenance that is their job. THIS IS REDICULOUS. This is not a luxury car caliber of service. If GM and Ford can pick up a phone and make an appointment in literally 1 minute for our other vehicles. Why cant Volvo.I hung up on the computer because it was literally impossible to make the appointment after talking to it for 15 minutes. I called the front desk and they could not find anyone in the service department to take my call to make an appointment and said someone would call me back AFTER being placed on hold. I have not gotten a call back.I gave the friendly person my honest feedback and asked her to let the manager know so they can understand customers reactions to this new form of trying to give us service and that it is not working. She said she would do so.Hopefully this dealership wants honest feedback. My feedback is simple. Pick up the phone when your customer calls you. Customer service basics.

Made an appointment for an oil change. When I spoke with the representative they asked year and model of my Volvo. It took over a month to get it on the schedule. On the day of the appointment I drove the car down and they tell me they don’t work on cars older than 2000. No apologies given, no compensation for my wasted time fighting traffic and gas getting down there. Do not do business with these snakes.

Best dealership experience I have ever had. No pressure, quick, in and out deal. Krishna and Michael were amazing to deal with. I have bought many cars and this was by far the best experience. Highly recommend.

My experience here would make me never buy a Volvo again. I scheduled an Oil Change online and was quoted approximately $158 for the service. I arrive for my appointment on time and the check in process took about 3-4 times what it does in Portland. I wait 2 hours as apparently they won't give you a loaner for an oil change. I'm nice the oil change is done I am quoted $240 for the service but told I will be given 10% off. Not given the 10% off promised after "whoops I forgot to apply".I am told by Alex that my serpentine belt and belt tensioner need replaced. The belt is cracked and the tensioner needs replaced. "How much?" $800.00. Folks, this is a pretty routine item on a car and should only cost about $200 out the door. I pay, leave, delighted to be free of the snakes.I call local mechanic and schedule appointment for the belt replacement after I'm quoted $160. Mechanic calls to tell me nothing is wrong with the belt or the tensioner. No cracking, no excessive wear, you can still read the print on the belt. Conclusion? Alex and Volvo routinely do this to customers they peg as gullible. 400% markup seems extreme even for a dealership. This business should be ashamed of themselves. I will be filing better business bureau complaint, credit card dispute for the overcharge, and blasting them online. The Jim Fischer Volvo in Portland is fantastic, this place is just a bunch of grifters trying to steal from you.STAY AWAY

Review for Service Department The unaware will leave this place after receiving a complete medical procedure known as a "Cashectomy", where all of your assets will be removed.Tip #1 - They charge around $225 just to look at a one problem! It could take 5 minutes, but they're going to get that money from you. I mentioned four issues, all connected to one faulty part. They gladly charged me $900 just to tell me all four issues were related. No kidding. So...don't tell them what the issues are, if there are several. Bring your car in for an oil/lube/filter and see if their safety check / inspection finds any problems. You'll save either save $225 x ? or they won't find the issue and that tells you plenty about their focus.Tip #2 - Get everything in writing! I received verbal quotes "oh, part A is around $125 and part B is $300". But in reality part A was waaay over 125 and part B was over $400. It adds up quickly. I spent nearly $6,000 on a $3,000 car. They do not respond to requests for complete pricing. I asked the manager point blank for an itemized list of exactly what I'd be paying for and got the double-talk, we can't do that, head games, anything to avoid transparency, oh we can't calculate tax. Sleazy.Tip #3 - Screenshot everything! They'll send you an email detailing work and asking for your legally binding approval. But as soon as you click "ok" the pricing, the details, all of it disappears! Good luck getting a copy from them. They don't care! They've got your car and will decide how much of your money they'll take. They WILL get your money.Tip #4 - They are not your friends. Most likely, imho, they operate like any dealer service department and have a monthly sales goal. That goal, and the perks that come with achieving that goal, are all they care about. You are simply their ATM.

We have an amazing experience with Will Tucker and Michael Salo. We got a very good deal and they kept all their promises. I am sending everyone I know to Volvo Tacoma even though it's a long drive there

What kind of parts store doesn't accept cash? Aside from having overpriced parts and fluids, I also get a condescending vibe from most of the employees when I come in for parts. Just gonna forget about this parts store. Portland and Seattle are cheaper by about 25% and fcpeuro 40% less for the same genuine volvo part.

I have tried using them to service my Volvo several times since moving to WA. No matter if you have an appt or not, they are always backed up with hours of waiting. And almost never have loaner cars for you. So unless you have someone to follow you around to drive you back and forth you are stuck. I won’t bother trying to get service here again. The service team members are nice enough but it’s way too much hassle and planning when driving over 40min to get there in the first place.
