“My husband & I highly recommend BackBreakers!!!
We needed help moving our furniture & boxes from Langley to our new house in Freeland and our realtor suggested that we try BackBreakers. We were so glad that we did because they did a fantastic job!
I spoke with Tim who had me go through each room so I could tell him what items I needed moved what their approximate sizes were. Then he quoted me what it would cost per hour to have 3 guys move our items & approximately how long it would take.
So a big shout out to Nick, Zach, & Damon who were all very nice & they were incredibly careful with our antique furniture & with everything else as well. They brought their own moving truck with hydraulic lifts plus lots of blankets & tie downs to safely secure our items in the truck. They didn’t have a problem with taking apart our dining room table so they could easily take it out through the doors and then they expertly put the table back together in our new dining room. They also never complained about the stairs that they had to climb in the old house and they even helped my husband move a couple of pieces of furniture from a Uhaul trailer that he had rented to get some items from another state.
We were also impressed that Tim’s estimate for the timing of the move and price were spot on.
When we originally moved to Whidbey Island from another state, we used Bekins, a national moving company, who we will never use again because they actually ended up charging us almost double of what they originally estimated. Then they basically held our stuff for ransom and wouldn’t deliver anything until we paid them in full. They ended up damaging some of our furniture & broke our brand new 75” TV. So in my opinion, stay away from the big national companies and use local movers like BackBreakers instead!
We will definitely use BackBreakers again when we’re ready to move some stuff from storage locker or for when we need help hauling large items or debris away from our house!”

Big extra bonus is that you are on an actual farm, so it doesn’t really feel like a storage center, which is nice. I just can’t recommend them enough!”
