Friday Harbor WA manager showed empathy for my situation. Explained why and how the deliveries were delayed in Portland OR during our inclement weather conditions. I appreciate having FedEx on our Island for both business and personal reasons.

We live in a small island community. Very frustrating to not be able to talk to the local hub, instead having to explain ferries etc to an offshore contractor. The consistent week long delays are the worst of it however

We live on a small island for goodness sake. We used to be able to get ahold of the facility on Saltspring Dr. to check on picking up deliveries that were missed. Now, like everything else, there is only a massive mysterious call center somewhere and the customer service is just pathetic. I’m going to start insisting that my packages only get sent by UPS. So much more flexible, personable and convenient here on San Juan Island.

They're the only ones who will come up our long driveway. They drive vans instead of ungainly box trucks. The drivers have always been friendly and courteous and bring our packages up our steps to keep them out of the rain. My only beef is that there is no way to contact the local office if you have an issue. (Are you listening??) People who serve the public should be available to the public. Not hiding in bunkers!

I just don't understand why you'd throw my parcel out of truck, on to dirt, not even on my porch. This has been done many times. One package said fragile and it was thrown from truck to ground. I wonder if you'd like your deliverys like that.

I've now been waiting over a week for a package from Bed Bath & Beyond. The tracking info says it's out for delivery but delivery does not happen. Islanders, please tell your shippers to avoid FedEx at all costs.

The owner/operator here is being of terrible service to our community. It seems many of us on the islands are seeing long delays without explanation (Eg packages stay at facility for a week). I’m on Lopez. No problem with usps ups or air. Maybe owner can give explanation here!?

We live on Orcas and this is the WORST delivery option. In our experience, if we've had issues with an order, it's ALWAYS FedEx. Always. I understand the ferries are an issue, but our local other delivery service manages just fine. I feel there must be deeper problems with warehouse on San Juan Island and lack of leadership and management. The communication between warehouse/driver and customer is also substandard. Overall a very frustrating and ridiculous experience.

FedEx can't seem to get it together enough to follow a) the multiple signs on both houses on the property and b) the shipping address that uses multiple lines to make it perfectly clear which house the address is referring to. UPS does great. USPS, fantastic. FedEx fails over and over and over again. Don't know if they've noticed, but there's a pandemic going on. I don't have a lot of interest in knocking on the neighbor's door to retrieve multiple packages that repeatedly get left at the most convenient house- WHICH IS THE WRONG HOUSE. And of course, there's no direct phone number for contact, only the 800 number. Which is useless. This will be our last order from anyone using FedEx as a shipper.

FedEx, working hard to make DHL look good. Want unreliable service? Want packages not delivered because "nobody was home", even though they were? Want packages delivered to random locations? Want a carrier that can't find an address that's been in existence for over 6 years? Call FedEx. They'll misdirect your packages better than any other carrier.
