“I want to share my experience. And let people know that in today's world of craziness, there are good people who care about the customers.

Some friends and I went for the whale watching tour in Friday harbor. As we live in Port Townsend we decided this would be something fun. And it is fun to go there. And the whale watching tours are always great I highly recommend it.

I always get a hoodie and a t-shirt. I told my husband I would buy a hoodie for him but the restaurants that my friends and I chose to eat at was very slow and service and we spent an hour and a half waiting for food. So we didn't really have enough time to go shopping.
I was really disappointed and I wanted a hoodie for my husband because he could not go due to him having to work. I contacted the visitor center and got a lot of help from one of the people there and this person said try these places and was very helpful. I emailed these places and called a couple of them one person emailed me back but that was it. And a couple of emails were returned. I was becoming disenchanted over a hoodie.

My one final try was the Friday Harbor Drug.
I emailed the front end manager Christine and she responded within 24 hours. I told her my story and we got pictures and my husband chose from those pictures and I would say within 3 days, the hoodie was sent. The transaction went smoothly it was delivered by the post office and my husband is now wearing it he's a very happy camper. ?
None of this would not have been possible if not for Christine the front end manager. I can say that she went above and beyond her job scope. Not only did she help by taking pictures and making sure that I receive them but went through the task of only giving me pictures of certain sizes and she asked questions because she wanted to be sure I was going to be happy and that my husband would be happy. Because in today's world where people are grouchy and whiny and complaining at the drop of the hat there was Christine being absolutely amazing caring professional and attentive. And I just really wanted to say that this store is great! You could feel their smile and warm through the phone. And that's what it's all about. It's not a big chain but I will tell you that will be the first place I recommend of anybody is looking for t-shirts, hats, sweaters, any kind of merchandise go to Friday Harbor and you will be treated like royalty. Thank you to whoever made the wise decision to hire this woman!!!!”
