Most of the people working here are volunteers it seems like because everybody is rude and nobody really puts in effort unfortunately that's what us locals are stuck with

I have consistently been treated so rude and with so much disrespect at this post office it's unbelievable! They have lost packages in their custody for up to 2 months. Returned items without holding them for no reason and have neglected to honor mail forwards. Today, after being there for over an hour trying to get a package that was put in a locker (the Post Office workers misplaced the key) my wife left crying. This is simply unacceptable. The workers here, regardless of their own personal problems or the problems that everyone faces having to hire good employees, fail to realize that, first and foremost, they are in the business of customer service. The management of this post office needs a significant change! I hope someone reads this from the post office and reaches out with an apology.

This post office is the rudest I’ve ever dealt with. The post master has always been difficult. Furthermore, they left a lovely note saying our PO Box was “full again” after they did not mark my PO Box as paid and I had months of missing mail. Try doing your job to see what is really happening before withholding mail and service for months.

Have a box there for 3 years for them to reject mail to it for 5+ months saying they never did when EVERYTHING besides there junk mail is marked as undeliverable

So disorganized. The lady who works at the front desk acts like she doesn't want to deal with you and your burdening her by asking for your mail. Oh and you might not receive your mail. USPS will say it's at Friday Harbor Postal Service. But when you ask for it nobody knows what your talking about. She just assumes that you entered your address wrong, when in fact you didn't. You know your package is somewhere back there but she's not going to find it. And to look up the tracking number you need to sit there and read off all 35 digits and hope she gets it right. And in the end, you won't get your package. Because she doesn't care lol. She's convinced you're just an idiot, and your mail doesn't exist. I wish I could go back there and do her easy job for her. Anyways I'll probably never get my package (even though I know it's sitting back there on one of the shelves). Please hire some new people. I truly hate going in there and seeing Karen at the front desk.

You can tell they are doing the best they can with what they got here, but I’d say the two obvious areas to improve here are (1) staffing - only one person up front, and you could tell she was stressed out from a line of 10 people at one point while i was standing amongst the line - and (2) get them a new label printer! the one there was malfunctioning and causing delays having to reprint and contributing to the line getting even longer. It sounded like it had been an ongoing problem.

If you get packages sent through ups they will try and charge you postage due even if they sign for it. No they don't have general delivery unless you use usps service.

Aside from this office closing at 3:00, I can't say the staff is all that great. In fact, I finally did one of their survey deals on your receipt that asked for a review of your services. I told it like it is.

There's nothing fancy about this post office, but it serves its purpose, and it's within walking distance of the ferry terminal and downtown shops. It worked great for mailing a postcard to a friend while I was on babysitting duty and the rest of the family was kayaking.

I called the post office today and asked for assistance with a key to my mail box, I sat on hold for 15 min, then while I was still on hold I drove to the post office and showed I was still on hold for the post master.........
When she finally came to the counter she was VERY RUDE!! and then told me I didn't know my mail box number so I gave her my Driver Lic and she still couldn't find it( this is the post office right they deliver mail to me everyday) then the post master told me to go back and make sure I had the correct box number. So I did I drove back to double check the box number and I was correct the first time. Then she tells me she cant help me.
I'm not sure on this but I think the post office is usually good at customer service, Not this post master I feel sorry for her as I think she is in over head at this job...
One last thing, buy no means should this reflect on the other employees that work at that location, thay all have been very help full in every way..

I have never had a bad experience here. The ladies at the counter are always very polite and friendly!!
