Always order from bartell's before checking Walgreens or rite aid. Prices are typically way cheaper than the other big box stores too!

They have staff shortages and just close so hit or miss if they are available to get your medication. Many different reasons for all the staff shortages but what is unprofessional is they don't change their phone message with updates on their hours. It would be very helpful for their customers if they cared enough to do so.

Very odd day today at Bartell's pharmacy. I had an appointment for a flu shot at 5:00 p.m.. Chuck was there to help me. He brought in a vaccination for a covid booster, and almost gave it to me. When I told him I was there for the over 65 flu shot he was surprised,. So when he went to get the correct vaccination, he came back, without mask and without gloves, and administered the shot. It was very crazy. I hope I'm going to be okay!

Awful managers I was accused of stealing sodas when in fact I did not the cashier was double checking the price and the sodas happen to be on clearance the cashier was very nice and very helpful when I mentioned it to the other manager of her accusations because the woman that accuse me look stupid because she realize she was wrong he just laughed and said sorry so unprofessional.

I usually get great service at Bartels and I love to support local businesses. I had an issue today with a prescription where they made an assumption rather than calling me to clarify an obvious issue. This was frustrating, but they did their best to fix it for my quickly and the employee I dealt with was very polite and professional. On top of that I understand that many places are short staffed right now and it's more difficult to follow through with the best service on everything. I would still rate Bartels 5 stars.

I have been coming to Bartel for all my family's prescription since I moved to Washington for about 3 years now. But the services here is just getting worse and worsen. They always sent you a text saying that your prescription is ready to be picked up but when you came in it's not ready. But that's not the things that made me give them one star today. I recently requested for a COVID vaccine appointment online. When I filled out the information they have asked me which vaccine I want to get. And I chose Pfizer, but when I got to the appointment they was about going to give me the Modena instead without saying anything. I was waiting so I was bored and read the receipt and it said Modena. When I asked them they just said that Pfizer was out of stock. What if I did not read the receipt they just gave it to me anyway. If they could tell me that they didn't have Pfizer vaccine upfront, I would gone to different pharmacy and I would made to the deadline of vaccination for my cruise vacation. And I would had more time to reschedule my appointment, but now I can't because it take like a month to reschedule for COVID vaccine appointment everywhere. And the Pfizer vaccine doses are only 21 days apart not like Modena are 28 days apart. I need to get both of them 2 weeks before my cruising date. And now I have to cancel my vacation because of them. Also when I called to confront them dr. Cheng, the pharmacist said they called client the night before to tell them what vaccine was in stock. That's was not true statement. That's was a lie. Please take your business else where that they at least care for you. Some other pharmacy they automatically schedule your second dose appointment which made it more convenient for you and this place is not.

Terrible service in the pharmacy. We arrived on time for our Sunday morning appointments for a Covid booster. The only person on duty spent 15 minutes in a private conversation with the person ahead of us, causing a line to form and our appointment times to slip away. Then he told us Bartells was out of the vaccine and he began helping the next customer and ignoring us.

This review is for the pharmacy. They are knowledgeable, efficient, and kind in all their interactions. I have been a customer there for six years and have only ever been treated kindly. I asked for some help on how and when to take a variety of meds. I got a personal call from one of the pharmacists.

Don't bother...there's no need to be treated poorly at this Bartell's when there are better, friendlier options available. After a checkout clerk made sexist comments and a vague threat to me yesterday, I'll never spend another dime in any Bartell Drugs. While asking my wife about the item we were purchasing, the clerk interrupts and tells me to 'man-up' for no apparent reason. I'm not sure what she thought she heard as her comment made zero sense. The clerk then says it should be "woman-up", laughs at me and points to other people in line and says, "sorry pal, You're outnumbered, you don't have a chance" ...then repeats it, still laughing at me, while I'm leaving the store. It was an absolutely bizarre, passive aggressive sexist threat to a customer who said nothing to her. I have no idea what her problem was...I just wanted to buy a couple items, not be subjected to the sexist bigotry and threats that Bartell Drugs in Gig Harbor seems to tolerate. This sales clerk made her bigotry toward men very clear. So when she told me to "Woman-up", I've decided to take her advice and will file a sexual harassment complaint with Bartell Drugs corporate and local management for her sexist comments and threat. As long as Bartell Drugs in Gig Harbor employs sexist clerks who insult and threaten their customers, I will gladly spend my money elsewhere.

I love the wide variety of stuff that Bartells carries in their store. You never know what you will find and that is why I'm giving them 2 stars. Unfortunately, my insurance is only contracted with Bartells in Gig Harbor. This has shown me the dark side of this business. Every single month there is a problem with my prescriptions. They are forever having to order my items in. Which shouldn't be. If you know you have a patient who needs something every month you should keep that item in stock. Also, changing the manufacturer constantly is a problem. I'm super frustrated with the lackluster service and the obvious lack of care. When my healthcare changes I will be changing pharmacies.
