Banked with Columbia for years with zero issues. If I wanted poor service I’d open an acct with B of A or Wells. We will be closing our accts with Umpqua and moving back to a small loca bank or using our credit union. 20 minutes on hold now every time I call, 15 dollar incoming wire transfer…..that’s why Umpqua and you have my name and location if you really wanted to fix it you’d reach out. I’m not interested in spending 20 minutes on hold to tell you I’m not interested in spending 20 minutes on hold! RIP Columbia bank you are missed!

I have been banking with Columbia Bank for over 20 years. In that time I have had one pay check that didn’t clear, it was reissued and cleared. Now they are making deposits difficult with companies that have never had issues.I can get terrible service at banks with far more locations and better services. I have stayed with Columbia for all these years because they have been fair and provided a more personal service. That seems to be disappearing.Might be time to rethink my banking choices.——————————The ridiculous treatment with mobile deposit continues, they left me with almost nothing available for the holiday weekend.I deposited a second weekly paycheck and They haven’t released the funds from previous weeks paycheck yet. It’s never been this awful in the over 20 years I have been banking with Columbia. Overall I would have given them 5 star review until this interaction. I don’t know if there’s been management changes, if that’s the case they made a poor decision.

I have been a long term and loyal customer to Columbia Bank. My business banks there, my kids all gave accounts there, and my personal accounts are there. I called asking about Notary service and was told yes they would notarize documents. My wife brought my elderly father there to get some documents notarized. We were told since he didn't have an account there they would not notarize them.I am very sad at how bad service has gotten at Columbia Bank. This is just one more example of how they behave like a large institutional bank, but they claim to be our hometown friends. Stay away.

My husband and I have banked with Columbia Bank for over 20 years through our business and personal. The GH branch has taken great care of us, recently we had our son join the bank and get a car loan. Carter at the bank is absolutely AWESOME and on top of things, he took great care of our family (he also stays on top of us for our business too). If you are looking for a personal banking experience and not talking to a computer, we highly recommend the GH Pt Fosdick Branch.

I went into Colombia Bank in Gig Harbor. I needed to get two documents notarized and in the mail at the post office just down the parking lot before the close of business today. I told the clerk at Colombia that I wasn't a customer, but I didn't care if I had to pay to have the documents notarized. She and another employee told me that because I wasn't a customer, they couldn't notarize the documents and that I should go to my bank to have the notarizing done at Uptown. And maybe I should open an account at Colombia Bank in the future. I went uptown to Key Bank, where Darrin said that they would notarize, at no cost even for someone who wasn't a Key Bank customer. Everyone is a potential customer. I thanked him and said that my business would clearly stay at Key Bank. I went back to Colombia Bank to tell the same lady that Key Bank has a policy that her bank should consider, that Colombia Bank had lost me as a potential customer. She wanted to tell me about the things that Key Bank was doing wrong, which was a real "put off." Yay for Key Bank today. Thank you for helping me!

It's a small branch of a small but growing regional. Friendly and informative staff.
