I have been tried to speak to someone at least 3 times. I held for 18 mins only to be transferred to take a survey. I didn't ask to be transferred?? Very frustrating!! I did call back and after 30 mins on hold got some one that was able to help-only after I told her have many times I had to call and hold. I have wasted so much of my time trying to access my account here..........never again!

I have an auto loan through this credit union, and it is the biggest pain I've ever dealt with for making a payment. Since I don't have a checking account here, I'm basically always stiffed with a $10 fee to make a payment. The app doesn't allow me to make a payment from my primary checking account. So I'm forced to call in every month. I've tried several times to set up my account and it doesn't let me. I've even spoken to someone on the phone attempting to set it up and it still doesn't work. I will be taking my loan elsewhere as soon as I can. Ridiculous.

Did you know you can be charged for just letting your money sit in savings? So I was charged a $7 fee for "inactivity". I will be closing my account

I would give Kitsap Credit Union 0 stars if I could, someone fraudulently opened a credit card in my fiancés name and they continue to harass him for payment even though it has been reported multiple times as fraud. Out of all the banks, Kitsap has been by far been the worst. We will never work with Kitsap Credit Union again after this.

I worked with drew, opening a new account. It was a painless and smooth process. Plus drew was a personable, charismatic indiviadual. Big thanks kitsap credit union!

Kitsap credit Union is a really good institution, except they do have a problem sharing your information, Any state or local institution, Is able to get your account information without your permission. And I have several letters to prove this, Very sad you can even trust your own financial institution. Unless the place you useTo store your money, Is Issued a warrant for your information they should never share anything, And unfortunately they are like a teenager that can't keep quiet. This is very sad and theManager didn't want to discuss anything not even the letters that I have in my possession, So go to BECU or navy federal and you won't have an issue With your information being shared

They have lost my paper work, I have gone in to make a credit card payment in person and had to go back 30 min later because it never went through, I went back and the girl said “I forgot to hit the process button sorry!” Very unprofessional and unorganized considering they are dealing with peoples credit.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Drove all the way there after speaking on the phone to a rep about getting my name removed as a co-signer for an auto loan after a divorce and was told both of us would have to come in person. We get terri and she says there is no way to "remove" it. It is a contract. I WILL BE LOOKING INTO SUEING.

Just seems a little unorganized. One teller says one thing another says another. They say online they take Apple Pay like 90% of other banks do, when in fact they don't. Just makes it chaotic hearing multiple things when your trying to make a payment and aren't able to because no one working there is on the same page.

Kitsap Credit Union employees are polite and helpful, like at all such institutions, but management policies are unfriendly to customers. Because Kitsap CU was offering better interest rates on checking account balances, and because we generally keep large balances in our checking accounts, we switched our checking accounts to Kitsap CU about a year ago. One month later, the pandemic hit and Kitsap CU then dropped that interest rate to half what it had been. So the weeks I spent setting up the new accounts with their auto-withdrawals, auto-deposits and auto-bill paying didn't end up benefitting us. Management says that the pandemic necessitated lowering costs, but they didn't lower executive salaries, for example, so account holders took the complete brunt of that - not surprising, but telling. And in order to qualify for any interest at all, one must use their debit card twelve times a month, use online banking and have at least one auto-deposit, one auto-withdrawal or use online bill paying once each month. So, on one of our accounts, I set up an auto-withdrawal. The company which withdraws money from that account each month, skipped last month's withdrawal and made two withdrawals this month instead. Kitsap CU didn't pay interest because that withdrawal wasn't made last month, even though we had complied with all the requirements they had in place. So even though this auto-withdrawal was set up, Kitsap CU used that excuse not to pay interest. There was absolutely no negative impact on Kitsap CU because that money wasn't withdrawn. They set up this gauntlet of requirements in the hope that they can find a way not to pay you interest. And if you don't think that is intentional, then I've got a bridge to sell you. Don't do business with these people. At our earliest convenience, we are going to be switching to a bank which knows that treating customers well is the smartest way to do business.

I tried to open a new account on Jan 4, 2021. Was told nobody was available. I used the online platform to open an account. Was told someone would contact me in 2 days. I called back on the 6th, was told nobody was available to talk to me. I called back on the 7th (today) and waited 43 minutes before someone from their "online" team took my call. She offered an apology for my wait and then proceeded to ask me to verify everything that I had already submitted online. I mean everything...I understand name, dob and SSN but then it just kept going. I reached my limit and asked her to cancel the application. I totally get the negative comments here. It shouldn't be this hard to give somebody your money. No need for KCU to comment on my post with the standard apology commentary followed by an offer to contact them. Your efforts should be focused internally and then maybe you won't have to make so many apologies.

Went in for something very simple, I usually go to the Port Orchard location however this is the closest to my job. Will drive the extra distance considering they weren't helpful whatsoever. If you have the option I sincerely advise to driving extra distance.
