They are rude and completely unhelpful. They give syringes for liquid medicine that can't even reach the medication inside. They write on the bottle to only use with the syringe they provide. If you spill anything because of there poor planning, they will not give you more or apologize. You will have to get a new prescription. Which does not help when it's a weekend and the doctor are closed. I see why they only have 3.1 stars.

Not sure what’s going on, this store’s shelves / racks are very empty, little inventory on shelves compared to space available, violating one of the key tenets of good merchandising (see photos). Maybe this store will permanently close soon or Rite Aid will go kaput? Also, despite this store being listed on the CDC website as an approved Yellow Fever vaccination site, the pharmacist advises they are not, politely claiming that they have asked the government to remove this location from the list (could be so, but I wasted some gasoline and time today stopping in because Rite Aid and our dear federal government cannot get aligned, both at fault in my view). So don’t come here to get a Yellow Fever vaccination despite what the CDC website states.

Going to the pharmacy is not my favorite chore, but I feel the need to share the good experience I had today at this Rite Aid in Gig Harbor. The Pharmacist and the technician went above and beyond to help me resolve a challenge I was facing with a prescription, they showed compassion and professionalism beyond what I am accustomed to, and I am extremely grateful!

I have been very patient with the pharmacy staff however this time I've had it. They are so damn rude to customers I've been hung up on I've had to go to the store because they refused to answer the phone, then the pharmacist goes off on me when I mention it to him . He says what do you expect me to do. I said answer the damn phone those are customers calling. I've been told they have no idea when my prescriptions will be done sometimes it's days before I get my meds. They constantly lose the prescription or say they never received it. Even my Dr. Has recommended for me to use a different pharmacy because he always has problems with the staff. The store shelves are empty and barron. And I have witnessed the staff yelling at an elderly woman . They also were trying to give me a prescription every 15 days when it should be 30 days they can't get it together over there. I'm done with this place I have never experienced this at any other rite aid. Just close this store and let another company come in and do it correctly. I will close with this (Dallas)is the only friendly person consistently at that pharmacy he deserves a promotion every one else can go to hell. DO NOT FILL HERE!!!! THEY DONT GIVE A CRAP ABOUT YOU. And if the owner sees this I blame you and your management for overloading and understaffing.

Good prices and selection on make-up. Store always clean and displayed well. Good prices on holiday and simple home decor. Helpful pharmacists.

No wonder Rite Aids are shutting down everywhere. Getting a prescription transferred even between Rite Aids is completely impossible. Three requests later from myself and my doctor and still NO REFILL. Honestly, good riddance if this is how Rite Aid is going to handle important medication.

Outstanding customer service. Very nice staff. They went above and beyond to get my prescription transferred from my original location because mine was out of my medication. The call took about 30 mins. It did not bother me because they were kind and trying to get everything figured out. Im Very thankful.

I suffered a miscarriage. I was prescribed medication to induce labor to flush out the tissue as well as pain medication because I was hemorrhaging. When I went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription, the head pharmacist, I don’t know his name, but he was of Asian descent, refused to fill it. He looked at my paperwork and saw that it said, the word abortion, which is what miscarriages are called in the medical field, and he decided that it was against his personal beliefs to give me the medication to complete my miscarriage process. I stood there for two hours, trying to get pain medication and the medication I needed to finish this horrific process. Bleeding and suffering in his lobby. He never ended up, giving me my medication and closed the roll down metal windows on the pharmacy while I stood there, crying. while I was there, he berated me degraded me and treated me like garbage. He mentioned that it was my choice, so I have to suffer the consequences. It was my choice to have a miscarriage apparently. Because he’s too stupid to understand medical terminology and he’s too arrogant and ignorant to understand that it’s none of his damn business why I need medication that I am prescribed. Because of his personal views. He is a disgusting monster. This pharmacy needs to be shut down if no one can get people who can do their jobs without thinking that they can apply their personal feelings on other peoples medical treatment. Nobody cares what this moron pharmacist thinks or feels. Do your job and go home.

Anyone using the Cash App's Cash Debit Card..... This is one of the many places you can load "paper money" via the apps bar code the cashier scans before the transaction is even completed you will be getting a verification text that the cash has been added. Quick, easy, and friendly employees that always make anything these days easier to do. It's not pulling up to a creepy ATM with your head on a swivel day and or night time so I'll take it.

This pharmacy has been the most attentive and involved pharmacy I've encountered in Gig Harbor. The staff stays on top of changes and actually communicates with you. Dallas is a class act. So professional and pleasant.I dont dread picking up my prescriptions like I have at Gig Harbor pharmacy retailers. Thank you to everyone working hard at Gig Harbor Rite Aid!

In the realm of I should have known better, I made an appointment for COVID and flu vaccines with a company on the verge of bankruptcy. Ever the optimist, I arrived at my appointment ahead of schedule, waited in line, was directed to another line and proceeded to wait 30 minutes, all the while serenaded by the the world's worst holiday music selection, played at a volume intended to be impossible to ignore. Staff did not communicate, make eye contact or otherwise acknowledge their tardiness. Putting aside the snark: I understand the world is a different place post-COVID and all of us must adjust. However, communication with customers is never a bad idea, and is the very minimum expectation of service these days. Appointment abandoned, new appointment made with another pharmacy.
