Sew Hip is Gig Harbor's newest sewing studio and fabric boutique. It is a fantastic and fun family-owned shop with a very kind, helpful, friendly, and professional team. The store carries a curated collection of quilting and garment fabric, including great designer options like Tilda, plus notions and hand embroidery. They offer excellent classes for ages 13 and up for all levels in quilting and garment construction. Students find the classes highly recommended, with a great pace and perfect, hands-on instruction that makes learning easy and effective. People leave happy, having retained more information than from videos alone, and often complete a project like a drawstring bag. With exceptional customer service and a welcoming feel, the shop also hosts tons of events.
