Safeway in Graham is a convenient and friendly neighborhood grocery store. It is a go-to location for many customers, with a great selection of items. The store is clean and offers fresh fruits and veggies galore in the produce department. Customers can find an assortment of meat and seafood at the butcher-block, and the bakery features customizable cakes and cupcakes. The deli offers a variety of party trays, made to order. Services like Grocery Delivery, DriveUp & Go™, and Order Ahead pick-up save time. Employees are consistently described as great, very helpful, super kind, friendly, and seem very happy working there. Staff in the meat and floral departments receive specific praise for being friendly and helpful. The pharmacy staff are also noted as awesome. The store is welcoming, even to customers' little dogs. However, significant frustration is reported with the electronic shopping carts that stop unexpectedly, even in the middle of the road, causing embarrassment. The new baskets that won't go out to vehicles are also a point of criticism. These issues have led some customers to reconsider shopping there.
I shop here a lot on my way home from work. The store is an older Safeway, I think, but still offers all the amenities of newer stores. Because of the economy the prices are high, but the quality and kindness of the staff make every trip enjoyable.
