“Trencher? I Hardly Know Her!
If you’ve ever dreamed of carving up your backyard like it’s a battlefield and hauling away the debris like a construction god, then do yourself a favor and go see the legends at Bunce Rentals. I walked in a mere mortal with a shovel and a dream—walked out with a trencher and a dump trailer, and an ego three sizes too big.
Darrell, the store manager, greeted me like a long-lost cousin at a family reunion. The man runs that shop like a five-star general with a clipboard and caffeine. His right-hand man, Zeke, was born to sling equipment and drop one-liners. He had me loaded up, strapped down, and briefed like I was about to land on the moon. I didn’t just rent a trencher—I received a masterclass in dirt domination.
The trencher tore through soil like a caffeinated badger with a grudge. The dump trailer? Let’s just say if hauling were an Olympic sport, I’d be in gold medal contention. Neighbors came out just to watch. One guy asked for my autograph. Another wept.
Return process? Smooth as butter on a hot day. Darrell and Zeke gave me the nod of respect I didn’t know I needed—but deeply appreciated.

“I have been renting from Arm Guard for 17 years now. They have always been very friendly and I have never had any issues trying to access my storage unit. The units are heated and inside. I have even moved units within that time frame and they will always work with you. There even really nice when you forget to give your insurance when you switch companies. Security is awesome! There is someone there 24/7! I highly recommend!!”

“So, last Sunday, one of the driver was driving on the highway with no dirt cover and resulted my windshield cracking in multiple places.When I called, Jackie took full responsibility and coordinated windshield replacement within the day and 4 days later, I have a new windshield.What I am trying to say is this. Now this is a company who are accountable and values integrity. Jackie upon initial contact called the driver which I am 100% confident addressed the concern and took action. “I really fealt like everything was great, and the staff went well above and beyond to accommodate every possible need. The whole experience was nicely streamlined by knowledgeable staff who were willing to provide all the answers I had along the way, especially when I had not expected such awesome customer service from U-Haul. There's really only the best people at this location, and I will definitely be returning here when I need another U-Haul rental. The first person I spoke with was extremely helpful and patient with the process of getting me out the door and into a truck right away. She even shared her snacks with us, and allowed me to use her tablet when my phone was being too lame to take a photograph needed for the U-Haul app, which I would say was pretty above and beyond as far as customer care goes. The gal who checked me out when I brought back the truck was also super nice and seemed genuinely interested about helping me get the right deal, which took some additional time, patience, and effort on her part, which resulted in an overall stellar customer service. I am glad to state that these folks have also a really cool thrift store at the same place, and if you haven't been in there you really should check em out, cause there's something for everyone in there, reasonably priced, and you can thrift it up and get a U-Haul at the same time! I would love to see these guys and their business thrive, and as an Elks Plain local, I think they are the best around hands down for hospitality and great vibes! I'll be back in soon.”

“I was greeted warmly and treated professionally on my first stop in to reserve a truck, when I returned the next day it was a different person working, but the treatment I got was the same. No issues at pick up, used the night drop and used the link sent via text message to do the on-line drop off sheet with no issues and for me usually there is. Won't go anywhere else.”

“There was an issue with my reservation. However, the lady called me wayyy before I needed it. She helped me get another reservation less than 40 minutes from me and was very accommodating! The lady who called was awesome! I highly recommend them for your uhaul needs.”
“The van had only 15k miles and got incredibly good gas mileage. The after hours gate was great so it didn't matter when you returned the truck.(within contract) Office person helpful and friendly.”
“This was a storage facility on partially developed land (average rating for location).The truck we rented was clean on the outside and seemed to be well maintained. However inside the cab, the floor boards were covered in dried dirt, there was some sort of liquid that was spilled on the inside driver door panel near the door hinge and the cloth seats had white stains on the headrest.That being said, it's a uhaul rental/storage facility on land still being developed. I would DEFINITELY recommend to ALL Bonney Lake residents. It's a helluva lot closer than going to Sumner. ????????”

“The staff is always polite and accommodating. We rent a lot of trucks and we always check this location first and only go elsewhere if they don't have what we need. Went in there on a super chaotic day, observed a very rude customer on their way out, and still received excellent service from the young woman at the desk and from the gentleman who goes to retrieve the trucks.”
“I've rented from Budget/Avis in Puyallup multiple times. Between having my car in the shop and adult kids coming to visit, it's probably been about 5-6 times. They're down to earth people who try to help you get the best deal. They aren't fancy with fake smiles and have never tried to push anything I didn't ask for. They've been flexible and honest about all charges. I would highly recommend them if you're looking for an easy rental car experience.”
