Very cute wine shop! Laura was so nice and helped us pick out some bottles. They had fruit wines, mead, ciders, along with local wines plus gift bags. A fun stop if you’re in the area.

Can only taste what is already opened. Wine is just okay at best. Way over priced. Would not recommend this place.

Customer service was great that is only reason for 2 stars. Just opened the bottle of Rose’ she assured me was dry, and not sweet. I told her several times I don’t like sweet wine. It wasn’t available for taste and I didn’t have glasses to read label and was in a hurry, so I trusted her. It it awful!! I couldn’t even finish small glass I poured. It’s beyond sweet. She needs to learn her grapes. It is a Muscat grape so clearly sweet. Pricy wine to dump down the sink! I have tasted better boxed wine, and that is bad too!

A small wine tasting venue. On 9/3/23 3:23 pm it was having problems doing two tasting groups. I saw that the tasting 'cups' were plastic pill dispensing container. I personally would do a wine tasting with plastic 'cups'.I bought one bottle of their Pinot Noir ( Willamette Valley) 2017 with tax $42.30I have never tasted a Pinot Noir I didn't like until this one. It was musty, flavorless with no body. I inquired about a Sangiovese bottle priced at $48, and declined.Overpriced & under-delivers winery.

Definitely not what would normally be considered a winery. There seemed to be no outdoor seating (definitely not anything of any size), just a tasting room and store. The wines were OK at best. We had a tasting (thinking it was strange when we were only offered "what was open"), and bought one bottle to take with us. Our total was $48.00 before tax. Upon uncorking the bottle later that evening, the inside of the cork had a thick, dark (almost black), tarry substance. We enjoyed a few really good wineries on this trip to Washington, and knowing what I know now, I'd pass on this one.

We called to confirm business hours yesterday and were told it would be open at 11:00. This morning we waited until 11:45 and still was not open. Heard a radio inside but saw nobody and knocked but no answer.

We usually visit Hoodsport Winery once or twice a year. They have a great variety of local wines. It's always great to have around home for everyday or special occasions.

Given a few bottles as a gift from family, pretty pricey for wet corks, no wax seal, and digestive upset. You guys may want to work on your bottling and sanitizing process, wet corks mean bacteria that can make people ill.

0/5 stars if I could. The old lady who runs the shop is Nosy, disrespectful, and rude.My boyfriend and I wanted to stop into our first winery and decided on this cute little winery we’ve seen countless times driving, and that was a mistake. As most people do when they find out my boyfriend and I are 21, they ask if we’re in school and since we aren’t they ask about work, but this lady didn’t let it stop there. When she pried her way to figure out why I wasn’t currently working, I mentioned I have a pretty severe knee injury which requires physical therapy that doesn’t start yet, she decided to mention how she worked at 7 years old and she is capable of working that long, that I’d be fine and can handle some pain. Alright no problem, older generations are different than mine so that’s fine. But it felt like it was a competition to her.She asks what I want to do or what could be of interest for me so I mentioned trade school for mechanics stuff and she instantly shuts me down and tries to tell me to go to college etc. my boyfriend started to steer conversation back to him as he could tell she was bein a little rude so I started reading about her wines. Still giving her a chance, things seem good with my bf and her, whatever I’ll still look.It began to become an issue when she was starting to rudely comment on how I wasn’t in college, while I’m over trying to read about her wines to kind of disengage the uncomfortable feeling she’s been shoving towards me, stating I didn’t have a plan and needed to get one. While mid conversation praising my boyfriend for being an electrician. At this point my boyfriend and her are chatting, he’s keeping attention on him so I can look cause he could even tell she was being a too rude. For the sake of accidentally catching her attitude wrong I still don’t mention anything about it, but right as she was finishing up conversation with him so we could leave, she looks at my boyfriend and goes “sounds like you have your life planned *looks over at me with a squint in her eye* but she still needs to figure hers out.”So I said back to her I mean no disrespect but it’s not a competition on who can do more. You don’t know my story, but I’m not in here to be scolded on my life. (in short, I’m spacing on the specific verbiage but I was stern cause she was blatantly rude to me) and left.I wouldn’t recommend coming here to anyone. It seems she has an attitude that won’t be changed, I’m sure there’s better winery’s out there. First time customers and first time in a winery (she knew, she asked) and ruined our first experience there. 0/5 stars

We had the best experience today. I forgot the gals name but she’s the granddaughter of the owners and she was lovely! Very knowledgeable and so friendly!! Not to mention the wines were great too! We will definitely be back often.
