If I could give minus stars I would. This company installed a gas fireplace and a gas line for the FP and my new propane range. They ignored specs, undersized the line, the work was sloppy and called "dangerous" by two other professionals. (This was after two attempts to get it right!) They left the line with a huge gas leak and I had Propane pouring into my basement. They admitted to NOT testing the line for leaks after install because they were "busy". This left myself, my home and my neighbors in a dangerous situation. Fortunately I was able to turn the gas off before an explosion. They refused to take any responsibility for their shoddy work. In addition, they blamed other tradesmen for their poor workmanship. They are extremely difficult to deal with. Please know that I am NOT exaggerating. Please do not hire this company!!!

Our fireplace quit working. We called Olympic Stove and Spa for a basic fireplace service because our stove was not turning on. The technician found a faulty wire connection to the switch and fixed the problem easily. Then they provided a fireplace cleaning and basic service. I recommend this company!!! I would definitely call them again.

Paid for service and was told my fireplace could not be repaired because the part needed was no longer made. Was quoted a $5,000 replacement. After 20 minutes of looking online I found a new conversion/retrofit part made for the fireplace for $220. I am now enjoying a nice warm fire.

Wish I could give them less stars. Took over a year to get a stove installed and 6 months later had to rip it all out covered in mold. They didn't install the stove pipe correctly (water damage everywhere), walled it in with a hole in the outside air intake, and refused to fix any of it. They came out twice and never even put a tarp over the hole in the roof. Hire at your own peril. Keep your home insurance policy handy. You will need it.

Jeff and I recently purchased a new propane fireplace for one of our lake rentals and had the old one replaced in the other rental. We literally walked to Olympic Stove and Spa in Hoodsport told Jeanne (owner) what we needed and within 30 minutes we bought our stove and set up the install appointments. Like clockwork 2 installers showed up, installed and hauled away our old stove, programmed the remotes and we are warm and toasted. Thank you Cisco and Toni for your excellent customer service and Jeanne for your great knowledge of the products.

We scheduled an annual inspection as a first time client today. 15 minutes before the scheduled service I got a call saying the tech was running an hour late. 2 hours later still no tech and when I called the office I recieved a lot of excuses and was given the tech's number and told to call them to see what was going on (not my job, lady). I cancelled service. This is not how you do business. My time is worth something and I spent a beautiful fall day at home waiting on you to show up. Unacceptable.

My husband and I went to Olympic Fireplace and Spa. I felt intimidated and angry because the salesperson (male) tried to sell us on he highest priced fireplace. He didn't ask our needs. At the end he promised to give us 15% on almost everything including the stoves, but he didn't want to itemize the price of any unit. He also couldn't figure out how to wear his his mask. A couple of days later, we returned and another salesperson said their computer will be out of commission for 24-48 hours an he would get back to us and didn't. The same sales person as the previous time raised his voice at me and essentially called me a liar regarding the discount and tried to gaslight me. It was easier to be rude to me because no sales people wore masks, but the customers were required to wear masks. I was able to hear their rudeness loud and clear. We got in our car and happily bought a terrific fireplace at their nearest competition. Olympic Fireplace's tactics did not work. The treatment of me was unacceptable. Stay away.

We really, really wanted to give our small town and local store our business. We were even ready to pay a little extra. On Thursday morning, we called to order everything needed to install a propane fireplace, including an adapter piece that they needed to order. They said it would be in the following Thursday, a week later. We asked to pay extra to have it sooner, so $30.00 more added to the price, we were told it would be there the next day. We asked them to call and let us know as soon as it was in. The next afternoon we didn't hear anything so we went into the store and Jeannie (who was our contact person through out the process) said her Fed-ex had not been there yet. She said she didn't have a tracking number. We asked if she could call and check on the tracking number. She did, and the item had not even been shipped. She said she ordered it too late in the day so it didn't go out until Friday. She said it would for sure be here on Monday. She half heartedly apologized and said she was slammed this time of year. So we adjusted our time frame. We were out running errands in Olympia on Monday, and our plan was to stop by the store on our way and pick everything up. As we were out and about, I went to their website and guess what, they are closed on Monday. So all of Jeannies assurance that our item would be there on a Monday, she never once said, but we are closed. So we purchased everything we needed in Olympia, loaded it in our car and got the fireplace installed. Meanwhile, Jeannie called Tuesday and said our part will be in Wednesday. We called Wednesday morning and told Jeannie, unfortunately we made other arrangements to get what we needed from another supplier, and as we were explaining, Jeannie hung up on us. So that's our experience in trying to support our local business.

waited hours for a return call never got one! Being winter would have been nice to know earlier in the day so I could go else where. Don't care if I have to drive to Seattle now, won't do business here.
