We stayed in this beautiful, historic inn for a peaceful anniversary getaway. It was absolutely wonderful. Lovely, comfortable room, gracious and helpful staff. We loved strolling around the little town and sitting by the river. In the evening we heard an owl calling, and a family of deer visited. We plan to return!

Aaahhhhhhhhhhazing! Go check them out! Limited menu, but absolutely delicious! So glad we found this place when we were looking for something to eat in-between hiking to Evergreen and Heybrook lookouts!

Wow, did not expect this! Such a great spot and I love the history of this place, absolutely need to come here again, bummed I didn’t get to spend more time in this quiet town. Feeling very refreshed!

We hadn’t stopped in Index, Wa in a while but we swung by looking for a coffee. It was so cool to see the Bush House open - they have a full menu but we just had a cinnamon roll and iced coffee - which was great!

Had dinner the other night. It was an excellent dinner and a relaxing place. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch, amazing views. Everyone who helped us was very friendly and professional. Really enjoyed all of the food. We will definitely come back!

I would absolutely avoid the general store, the guy running the place is a jerk.
Close to the river and again, the views are AMAZING!!

Incredibly cute, quaint lodging. The restaurant downstairs is great for a quick bite. Front porch invites you to soak in the beauty of the small town and the nature all around you. Wonderful stay here.

We stayed in the Cottage which was lovely! Friends stayed in the rooms within the main building which were cozy. Customer service via email prior to the trip was very helpful and prompt responses. Location is as good as you can get if your trying to ski at Steven's Pass! Would stay again! :)

Our stay here was fabulous and a highlight of our trip. The inn is beautifully restored while still capturing its vintage charm. The room was comfortable and quaint, the family lounge area was spacious with beautiful views, the restaurant and bakery has delicious and unexpectedly unique food offerings that will keep you coming back for every meal, and the staff members were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I highly recommend this inn and restaurant.
