Our foster cat had an open wound we found last night and Alpine got her in this afternoon when the other three (closer) places I called were booked out three days. I arrived 15 minutes early (I was as anxious as the cat) and the guy at the desk was so nice - gave me paperwork and explained both cat exam rooms were occupied but we could wait in a dog exam room. I chose to stay in the lobby and within 10 minutes of our arrival, the equally nice tech came to get our story and take the cat back for an exam.10 minutes after that, a very patient and kind vet came to tell me what they found (puncture wound) and that they were shaving/cleaning the area now, would give her an antibiotic injection and she'd be out shortly. 5 minutes later the tech brings her out, and answers any other questions I could think of. The woman at the desk then rang me up for a reasonable price and I was out the door by 3:15 though my appointment was at 3:00 - total of 30 minutes in and out! I've never had such a fast and yet also perfect vet experience. A+ !!

Alpine Animal Hospital looked after my dog Maggie for 18 years (from puppy to mature age) and was always available to me for all needed check up's whether she was healthy or sick and during a few emergencies as well! I have had some wonderful vets during this long time period and my most recent vet of the last couple years, Dr. Patrick Miles was such a caring and experienced vet during Maggie's last few years of life. It is easy to get appointments and emergency walk-ins are the best! Thank you for almost two decades of care. Jennie Wilson

Alpine Animal Hospital is exceptional! The staff is friendly and practices great client service. Dr. Bowman and Dr. Miles are absolute gems that are so knowledgeable and thorough in their care. In an industry where it can be difficult to find a good veterinarian to care for your pet, Alpine really shines and stands apart from the rest.

Terrible! They caused my cat a lot of pain, charged me a fortune, and screwed things up right and left. Mis-read tests, kept taking his catheter out and putting it back in. I never saw the same vet there twice, and they were all very young, fresh out of school. My cat almost died because of their incompetence. The place is a chain, run purely to extract as much money as possible from unsuspecting people and their poor animals. (Look it up: the have locations around the country. Private venture firms own these places.)

We switched from another local Vet to Alpine Animal Hospital in Issaquah seeking better care for our dog, better answers and understanding of conditions & options for us. We got that! These people work as a team, stay late for you if needed, answer the phone with real people, and provide excellent care for our dog's conditions and really helped us understand things SO much better, including options for treatment there and even at other places; whatever was best for our dog and our family. REALLY appreciate this Team! ?

I called this business and the phone tree mentioned asking them about walk in appointments. I asked the receptionist and she said they do not have walk in appointments. So I was encouraged to go on line to make an appointment. I thought this was strange as I was on the phone with someone, but I went ahead and did it. I scheduled the first available appointment which was a Monday. I made the appointment on Thursday, I believe. After going through all the prompts and confirming the appointment I received an email explaining that my appointment is unconfirmed until I hear or receive a confirmation from the hospital. We'll come Monday I had not heard anything. Luckily I had a feeling this might happen, and I had made an appointment elsewhere. Later on Monday I received a call from Alpine stating that I had missed my appointment. I am giving 2-stars as the on line appointment process clearly worked. I am not giving more than 2-stars however, because it generated an email that said unconfirmed appointment and the only confirmation I received from the establishment was after my scheduled time. I wonder if they have a lot of no-shows due to this process. Seems likely as I will never just show up for something I've been told is not confirmed, for risk of being denied service and wasting my time. I had a great appointment elsewhere at Island Animal Hospital on Mercer Island. I placed an on line appointment Sunday night, since I had yet to hear from Alpine, and got a confirmation. I arrived at 8:00 am and had all my pets needs met.

Everyone from the front office greeters, to the technicians, to the doctors are caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and understanding. I brought my kitten here for an emergency because my usual vet was booked, and have decided to switch vets. Thank you, Alpine, for taking such good care of my kitty!

I could not ask for a better team to care for our pup. Nichole walked me through every need and option for those needs. I am a very nervous and emotional person and while my pup was in surgery she texted me updates and cared for him like he was her own. I am able to call her with any worry and treated with such care. Thank you for caring for Tank and restoring his health and caring for me through it!

This place is an absolute joke. Doesn't call when test results are back (and there's an issue). Doesn't return voicemails. Doesn't fill prescriptions unless you give 48 hours notice. Will not send a prescription to a third party pharmacy unless they have 48 hours notice. They act like this is a busy human hospital- it's not. When Bureaucracy intersects with care doesn't result in a good hospital. Will not be back.

Super friendly staff in Issaquah, it always warms my heart the way they greet my dog, Shooter, he's 15 and grumpy but they treat him like an 8 week old puppy. He gets so excited when he sees the staff that whatever his ailment, there are no longer any symptoms. Although he got too excited the last time and took a massive dump in their floor. They didn't get mad, but both my puppers and I were quite embarrassed. Pawsitively the most caring and compassionate clinic around.

Trying to get through to this place via phone is nearly impossible. Looking at the other reviews, I would advise the business manager work harder to make this place appealing. You get lost in the phone system, no one is available and messages are unanswered. On top of it all, they charge more than most vets just to walk into the building. Once an image is badly tarnished, it's tough to get back at the top. You might reconsider your crummy phone system--it didn't matter what time I called.

Alpine cares about all things living, including humans. Our car broke down and it was all I could do to pull into the Alpine parking lot. During our breakdown we had to call a tow truck. A pet healthcare worker came out to check up on use. We didn't have a pet with us, so she came out to check on us humans. She asked if we were OK and if we needed any water or a access to a bathroom. We didn't but I was very comforted by this healthcare professional. She made us sure we were safe and comfortable! Alpine is very caring to even us humans! It is very nice to see such caring to all things living.
