The worst appliance purchase ever...first Whirlpool unit ate dryer sheet and the dryer door was bent or crooked. So decided to return it and buy a different brand. So they finally delivered the newunit and the return unit is still waiting for pickup. The worst part was got an email confirmation but no one showed up or called. Total waste of time...called corporate and was told by resolution desk the work find out more detail and call me back still waiting for a response.Again the worst purchase EVER!!

I purchased a $1600.00 pergola from Costco on line. It never arrived, but was reported as delivered. I reported the issue twice to the shipping company. No response. I reported the incident twice to Costco. No response. I engaged in a chat with a Costco representative who seemed concerned. The follow up consisted of an automated response saying that demand was high an a response may be delayed. There was no response. I have taken the matter up with the better business bureau and the federal trade commission. My family has been executive members for years. Not anymore.**** Updating ***Upping review to 4 stars. They eventually went out of their way to make this right, but it took a long time to get fully resolved. There was considerable miscommunication on their end, and I had to reach out to the corporate office to get action, but the main takeaway is that they really did want to make the situation right, and eventually went out of their way to do so. My trust in them has been restored.

I got off the phone with Michael F (ID # 2444FTM) from costco.com. I wanted to inform you that he is an EXCELLENT customer service to work with. He was so polite and nice. He went over and beyond and was very professional. He definitely knows his job/business. If I could I would continue to use him for any online inquiries. Then when I inquired about the air mattress his answer were clear and where necessary detailed enough for us to make informed decisions.I'd give him 10 STARS if I could. Great hire manager! Give him raise.

We bought a GE Refridgerator from Costco on June 14. Upon arranging delivery we find out that Costco does not deliver GE appliances, they are delivered by GE themselves. Two delivery drivers from GE arrive to deliver the refridgerator ( very poor communication, non English speaking) and proceed to tell us they cannot bring the refrigerator into the house because our waterline shutoff is under the sink and needs to be behind the refridgerator. They tell us to call a plumber, which we did and it would cost $1,000 to move the shutoff. They left the new refrigerator in our garage. I called the day the plumber came out to tell Costco and GE to pick up the refrigerator. It was suppose to be picked up today, June 29 between 7:00 - 11:00 am. I get a call at 11:15 to let me know it cannot be picked up until July 7, the caller was extremely rude. So in the mean time they are sitting on my $2,000 until it is picked up. Costco states there isn’t anything they can do. Do not buy appliances from Costco, they do not stand behind the products they sell.

I purchased a complete HVAC system (Two Lennox AC Units and a Lennox Furnace) from Costco in July 2018 for $14,100. Costco outsourced the installation to a company called Service Experts in Raleigh, NC which has serviced the unit every year (3 times) since they installed it. During the 3rd maintenance service check in May 2021, they indicated the unit was fine; however 3 days later one of the AC units started failing. When I called Service Experts to inform them they sent someone out to look at the unit and immediately wanted to charge me $300 to de-ice the unit. They then indicated that refrigerant was low and said they had to add a pound. Since Service Experts believed the unit was leaking they wanted to charge for that. Upon explaining my situation to Service Experts that my unit was new and also didn't have issues until their service tech performed the 3rd maintenance service, they agreed to do the leak search. Upon the 4th visit, they confirmed a leak and are now still wanting to charge me labor roughly $1500 in labor to fix the issue. This is absolutely absurd considering the unit is less than 3 years old, as well as was maintained each year (3 times by Service Experts) who originally installed the unit. Upon my inspection of the inside of the unit when Service Experts for checking for the leak, the unit does not look new inside. I'm totally disappointed in Costco because they aren't standing behind their installers. When I decided to make this large of a purchase I could have bought it from any company. I made the decision to purchase from Costco because I thought they would stand behind the equipment and installation of such a large HVAC purchase. I have reported this to Costco Member Services Corporate and after a week I still have not received a response which is disheartening to say the least.

We ordered a washer and dryer from Costco and then the nightmare began. First Costco billed us twice for the same washer and dryer. Then we waited over a week for a delivery date. Then the automated scheduler called and informed us that the items would be delivered Thursday between 1:15 and 3:15. When 3:30 rolled around with no delivery we call and inquire. They say something happened with the driver and we'll be notified of a new delivery date and time. But no one calls. Next we are told to expect a Saturday delivery. Saturday comes and goes with no delivery and no calls from Costco. Here it is Wednesday of the following week and despite numerous calls to Costco, no one knows when the items will be delivered or can explain why they haven't been delivered. If you are thinking of buying appliances from Costco, don't! I wish I could give less than one star.

On three separate instances I've had to call in and request my money that I need during these tough times from a purchase that I chose to make with your organization because I saw the value at that moment. Once I realized it was a product that I was satisfied with and returned it I started facing countless issues. All I want is this to be resolved and my money sent back to me! 3 1 hour phone calls is unacceptable?

I wish more corporations were like Costco. I like the prices, the perks, the gas stations, the food court and the great customer service. Over the many many years I have been a member of course there have been issues. Each time there has been an issue Costco made it right. I am glad that Costco enforces the wearing of masks in the warehouse. If someone is adult enough to pay for a membership and shop then they are adult enough to be responsible for providing and wearing their own mask. Costco is proof that a corporation can make a profit and still offer good prices, service and treat their employees right.

Worst customer service ever. I tried to order tires online. The order system kept conflicting with my credit card. After talking to 4 representatives and 1 person at cooperate. I was basically told that I could pay the higher price for the tires in store or go somewhere else and purchase them. Very disappointed. This was my first issue at Costco. I joined because people raved about their customer loyalty. Planning on using my rewards check and going back to Sam’s. At least you know what you are getting.

In store shopping is okay, but DO NOT ORDER APPLIANCES ONLINE FROM COSTCO.We ordered refrigerator and washer/dryer. When I checked the refrigerator's water/ice dispenser after the installers left, it did not work. Also later discovered broken parts and exterior scratches. Had to wait over a week for Samsung technician to come fix it. Samsung technician told me Costco guys totally didn't know how to install the water tank and been damaged.Reported to customer service about broken parts and scratches... She said it will be addressed to the appliance department, but it's been over a week and no response.Washer/dryer came with wrong connector for vent, installer told me they don't have the correct one and I have to buy a different one myself... Costco needs to train their delivery/installers better about their appliances.What a horrible delivery/installation experience from Costco Online Delivery/Installation.
