Adam took the time to really help me understand the technical issues I was working through with my setup and helped me save money by learning how to dial my existing gear instead of buying new stuff to compensate. And this wasn't for any big retail sale benefiting him, he just wanted to get it right. Though I do most of my own maintenance, I will be coming here for all of my serious technical needs and for sage advice. Look no further for a guru.

Great service and very knowledgeable. Locally owned and great bike repair too! The other stores might be flashier and have more things but this shop has what you need 99% of the time and the owner is helpful enough to actually find you what you need not just something close! Best bike shop around

The owner and mechanic in this shop is outstanding. He helped me tune the suspension of a new MTB and got it dialed in the first time. He has decades of experience and is passionate about all things MTB. I highly recommend Downhill Zone. Fair prices, professional and courteous. Did I say Passionate about everything MTB!!!!!!

Adam is a top notch mechanic, after visiting over 15 shops over the years it is a pleasure to know a mechanic who has the best interest of the customer. Very professional and the shop is full of goodies. After Adam being my main mechanic for 4 bikes and over 7 years he has helped me with simple maintenance, full custom builds, and even a nightmare warranty (until Adam was of service with the warranty claim). Maybe consider moving to Bellingham as we need a mechanic like you ;)

I take all my bikes to Adam. I race road, mountain, and cyclocross, and I finally found a shop I love - after living in Issaquah for nearly 20 years. Adam is the only one that will look-over my bike and find exactly what's wrong with it during the annual tune-up, dropper, and fork service. The biggest difference is that I trust the bike when it's been with Adam. Since he's a one-man shop, he has quality control and guarantees his work. Bike wrenching is not my profession, I can't fix it myself, that's why I need a shop; but at other bike shops, I often feel like they treat me like I'm an idiot. Adam explains everything he did to the bike in detail; I appreciate that! He loves what he does and takes time with his customers.

Great shop and Adam is an absolute wealth of knowledge. I came into the shop looking for some hardware, which he had on hand, and had a good chat and he was happy to answer all of my questions and provide some tips.Overall a great experience and will be my go-to shop in the future.
