This is a review of the customer service at Fischer’s, the meat looks fresh and good. I called last Friday to see if I could buy chicken bones and was told yes, I could buy full bones or ground bones, and they’re $3/lb. Today I walked in and asked for chicken bones, and the guy behind the counter was confused. First, he asked me why I wanted chicken bones. I don’t appreciate men questioning me, I’m here to buy a product. You don’t go to the store to get questioned about your purchase. But I told him I wanted to make bone broth and he proceeded to tell me they don’t sell chicken bones, just ground up for animals. Perhaps all employees should be trained in what you do and do not sell. It would be helpful for members of the community that are looking for specific items.

Surprisingly bad customer service, and my $35, 16oz ribeye was low grade choice, at best. And the kicker is, the ribeye cap was completely separate from the steak and tied on. Better off just going to PCC. I post very few reviews, but a stand-alone butcher shop just needs to be so much better than this.
