Very shady practices , we have been trying to cancel the membership for 2 months now, guess what the manager is never to be found and the front desk is good for nothing.. Predators!! When I applied as a new member they would text me everyday and when you want to cancel they took away my ability to cancel online and keep sending emails to manager with no response. I am going to write to BBB as well. Hopefully the marketing team would see this review and help us.

Posting this from a burner. Been a long time gym goer here. Great service, clean facilities. You pay a premium for a nicer facility which makes sense. The issue that has near ruined this gym is the TV’s with display of constant short-form media. I go to the gym to escape this media from my phone, but now it’s been plastered on the wall. I’ve spoken with other regular gym members from when they agree. The content is brain rot and parasitic. Go back to having a game on the TV or plain turn them off.

I have been a loyal member of 425 fitness for a long time, but I am sad to say that I have to leave this gym. This gym used to be my favorite place to work out and watch my sport teams, the mariners and Seahawks, on the TV. It was a fun and motivating experience to lift some iron while cheering for my team. But then they changed the TV channel to some boring tiktok or Instagram reels of people doing athletic stuff. They said it was because people were sitting on the equipment too long watching the TV, but I don’t see any difference now. The only difference is that I can’t watch my mariners and Seahawks anymore while getting a good pump on. I was extremely disappointed by this decision that ended a 15-year tradition.Another thing that saddens me is that I have to pay a lot more for my membership now. I was paying the same rate as I joined many years ago, which was a great deal for me. My rate was set in stone and never changed until this upcoming month, where everyone’s rate is going to be the standard $80 price. Now I understand that 425 fitness is an extremely clean gym with new equipment every other week and projects to improve the gym are always going on. I also understand that it is 2023 and inflation is happening. But I wish they could have made some sort of compromise for people who were paying their original price. It is outrageous that some people are paying 2-5X as much per month and they can’t even meet in the middle somewhere. I understand that times are tough, especially in this current day and age, and that they need to keep up with the exceptional clean and good equipment they have. But I can’t afford to pay around $950 a year to just go to the gym.425 fitness has been more than just a gym for me. It has been my comfort zone, where I have gone through so many different stages in my life. I loved 425 fitness and what it is, but I have to say goodbye to it now. I have watched many memorable seahawks games here, like when they won the Superbowl and Richard Sherman’s tipped ball. I have also seen the mariners well... play underwhelming baseball through the years. I have gone through the highs and lows of my life here, from breakups to graduations, from marriages to divorces. 425 fitness has always been there for me from 5am-11pm. With a pit at the bottom of my heart, I am sad to say goodbye to the gym that meant so much more to me than just a gym. I will always appreciate the friendly staff they have always employed throughout my years here. I wish I could take them with me to the next gym I will be going to, but unfortunately I have to leave them, and my fantastic memories at 425 fitness behind. I will always love 425 fitness, even though I have tears of sadness running down my face as I am typing this. 425 fitness will always be my gym at my core.

This gym has been continuously going down hill. Towels are hardly available, stuff lying around on the floor, lots of equipment out of order, etc. Women's steam room has not been working properly for over a few months. I hardly see the manager (Connor) anymore. The worst thing is the loud music! Does the management ever read the reviews here?!! Nobody likes it and that's why almost everyone wears ear pods trying to block it. This is all after they raised the membership! Just unbelievable!

I’ve been a member here since December of last year. This is a trustworthy review. Is the gym perfect? Not all the time, but is close to being perfect. The pool was closed for over a month for maintenance - waiting for parts to arrive from Italy, something out of their control. Most recently the heater in the pool wasn’t working. However, the management ensures that the things that are broken, get fixed and not stay broken. Things break - that’s just a fact of life. What they do next and the resolution time is what counts. What could help is letting members know upfront at the desk that something’s broken, rather than walking in, getting ready, taking a shower, getting one foot into the pool only to know that it is ice cold water. That was not a pleasant experience.I would rate the pool a 9/10, the Jacuzzi 10/10, the steam room 10/10, the sauna 10/10, the showers and dressing rooms 10/10. The gym equipment 20/10 (yes a 20 on 10 because it is that good!).The staff at 425 Fitness Issaquah have skills you cannot teach a person. Coming here after a long days work feels like coming home, where you are warmly welcomed with smiles and where people know your name. It’s not important that they know my name, but it goes a long way in making me feel welcomed at the gym.The staff are kind, polite, helpful and welcoming. The facilities they’ve got at this gym is unparalleled. I’ve met folks who have multiple gym memberships, who’ve been coming here for many many years. They choose to drive over 1 hour to 425 Fitness Issaquah, just because they like the gym that much! The staff would receive a 100/10 (Not a typo - a hundred on ten).A special note of appreciation to Robby. He is all the good things about this review and much much more! He sets the customer service bar HIGH, and raises it for all he works with. He’s got a super bright future ahead of him!I am absolutely grateful to be a member of 425 Issaquah. If you’re on the fence about joining here, come in, ask for a trial. You will not regret it.

Staff including the manager and billing team are extremely rude and impolite. The gym is ok but good luck if you need any other information from people working here.I attest to the contents in the below reviews about wrong membership details, refusal to take ownership, intimidating staff, decline in quality etc.

This quality of this gym has been decreasing with each passing year. A year ago I was paying $59/month to be a member here and now the price is $99/month -- will not be continuing my membership because of it. For worse quality too. I hope they lower the prices. They constantly nickel and dime everything. A real shadow of its former self, Gold's Gym.

Bunch of cheaters! They increase the price and my card was charged just a day ago and I tried to cancel membership and they would ask for another monthly payment. What a nightmare this place has been! Owner John Himlton is uninterested in keeping members happy and have bogus policy. I have been member since over 17 or 18 years and wouldn't go back.Be Aware of these people!!!

The staff is horrible. Facilities are often broken and the company isn’t even apologetic about it.For example currently the swimming pool is closed for over a month. It’s also super crowded.Update: June 6. Pool still closed. Approaching 2 months soon.Update: June 12. Company responding to comments with incorrect information and made up facts.

Great equipment, friendly staff. It gets crowded, but that's no fault if the gym. They used to have family swim times. I just wish they would do that again.

Tracey ,No need to write again that music enhances etc...the music is too loud, even with noise canceling iPods..nearly everyone is using their own headphones to do whatever you continually use as your response to the loud noise..enhance and so on, or to block the clubs choice of load music .I'm a long term member. Turn it way down. Please find and read todays NY time's article on loud noise and it's actually shortening lives..check it out.My stars are based on the music.Tracey, you don't need to respond to this. U have my contact info if you choose to reach out.
