This location is absolutely terrible, there business practice is terrible and all they try and do is take advantage of people, my fiance went in there this year to get her taxes done and they were filing for this year and last due to us having so much going on we thought last year's was not done, well turns out it was and they new that, they told my fiance they she could not file her taxes electronically, that a refund was already issued then told her she would need to file it by mail, told her she would get a refund for paying for it as it could not be filed but that they would help her file by mail for what she already paid. Turns out the taxes were filed as they well knew it and then told her when she came in they would not refund all of it. This years taxes she file literally took the person 2 minutes to copy and paste everything so this is not about a matter of time, she was paid for her time it was about her commission, not customer, service, not taking pride in the service she provides purely greed, she issues a partial refund to my fiance, tells her it's been approved and will be back on her card by the end of the week, next week rolls around no refund, we call ask to speak to a manager twice every time she so happens to be to busy, then we're told oh it's a check it will be in the mail by the end of the week, end of that week no check, call next week again manager busy and will be there by end of that week again no check. It's been another week still no refund, this is not even really about the money as much as it is all the games they have played, the practice of praying on people to get a commission, knowing darn well they will get no result for the money spent, the. It's about all the mis information, I don't know the preparer of the taxes in any way shape or form but what I do know is she was given a brand new card that her taxes would go onto and when the taxes hit her card a brand new card that same day all the money that was on this card was spent online when we had not used or touched or even had this card any where but inside our safe. This may be a coincidence of something bigger going on but it's seen pretty shady to me all the way around and we will be writing a letter with all the facts we have and give it over to the states Attorneys office this week about there shady business practice so hopefully they can dig into and see if there's a bigger issue at hand at hopefully the very least have these people focus more on customer service instead of try to take advantage of people. I'd give negative stars here if I could I highly recommend people go else where.

Average Tax Preparation Service. My recent experience was a mixed one, leaving me with an overall impression of an average tax preparation service. While there were some positive aspects, there were also a few areas that need improvement.
Professional and Courteous Staff: The staff were professional and courteous throughout the process. They were friendly and made an effort to ensure that I felt comfortable during my appointment. The tax preparer I worked with was knowledgeable and seemed well-versed in tax laws, which was reassuring.
Convenient Location and Scheduling: The convenience of location was a definite plus. It was easy to find and had ample parking available. Scheduling an appointment was straightforward, and I appreciated the flexibility in appointment times, which accommodated my busy schedule.
Average Service: While the staff were friendly, the overall service was average. The tax preparation process felt a bit rushed, and there were times when I felt like more thorough explanations or detailed advice could have been provided. The preparer seemed to be following a standard checklist without tailoring the service to my specific tax situation, which left me with some unanswered questions and concerns.
Pricing: The cost of the service was higher than I anticipated. Given the average level of service I received, I felt that the pricing was not entirely justified. There were additional fees for various forms and services, which quickly added up, making the overall expense quite significant.
Limited Follow-Up: After my taxes were filed, I received minimal follow-up from H&R Block. While I didn't have any major issues, it would have been nice to have a more proactive approach from the company in case any questions or issues arose post-filing. This lack of follow-up left me feeling somewhat disconnected from the service.
Clean and Professional Environment: The office itself was clean and well-maintained, creating a professional environment. This helped in making the overall experience more pleasant, even though the service could have been more personalized.
In summary, they provide an adequate tax preparation service with professional and courteous staff and convenient locations. However, the experience felt somewhat impersonal, and the service was average, especially considering the higher cost. While it’s a reliable option for basic tax preparation, there is room for improvement in terms of personalized service and pricing transparency.

My first time using H&R Block. Kimberly Shin was my tax specialist. Very efficient and she did an excellent job! I am definitely going to go back next year!

We called H&R Block for a tax refund and they said we can help you with your tax refund for $89. But when they prepared the documents, they billed us $560. We objected and finally paid $435. We are so sorry. It was a very bad experience. We have decided that we will definitely never work with H&R Block next year. I never recommend it to anyone. I'm still waiting for them to call me and tell me they made a mistake and refund my money. It's so sad, I can't trust anyone anymore. I condemn anyone who deceives people and puts them in a difficult situation.

Gurmita Hayer did a fabulous job on my return. I was also impressed with the office and the rest of the staff in the Issaquah, WA office. I'm delighted to have my tax issues well in hand for this year all all the years to come.

Will never go here again. I had a very simple return that took about 10 minutes. They charged me $300. I used to pay $99 at H&R Block. Never again. Greedy.

Niah went above and beyond. Between personal taxes and small business information I came in with, she provided a very stress free experience and also provided me with extended knowledge and resources to have in my tool kit for better preparedness, any course corrections, and confidence going forward.
