After being a loyal customer for over 5 years and sending both my family members and me at several different employers and recommending them. Well today was absolutely the last day ever I will do business with them. A male employee, let's call HIM Mr. CC. interceded in a conversation with me and the receptionist and was unbelievably out of line in his tone/tenor and language. He shouldn't have the opportunity to interact with customers. The situation was this: Last week the establishment had to cancel their appointments, same day. They followed up 3 days later to reschedule. I accepted the reschedule even after telling them this would be a very tight time but I'd need some flexibility. I called at 2 minutes before my appointment and they had only an answering machine to say, hey I am going to be late...probably 8 minutes late. When I arrive it's now exactly 9 minutes after my scheduled time. They tell me they have a 10 minute policy...understandable but I won't be able to reschedule any time soon after last weeks cancellation by them. This is when Mr. CC jumps in and tells me I am being disrespectful..umm okay sure..any way..there's more to this but let's just say..sadly..I will be telling all of my friends and I just won't ever be able to in good conscience go there again while this gentleman is present...too bad.

I went once for an eye exam, waited over half an hour to see Dr Erickson. They used all sorts of fancy machines and even though I said do not do a refraction they did it anyway and tried to sell me glasses which I did not need. I had just had cataract surgery and did not need glasses for reading or driving.They billed my insurance late and after a year told me I owed them $555 and that my insurance denied payment.Actually my insurance told me they not only billed after 6 months of visit but they also overcharged me. Finally after an appeal my insurance paid some but not all due to over billing and told me I owed nothing. I have Medicare and United Health Care.I just returned to my previous Opthamologist for an eye exam and the bill for service was $200. Enough said!!!

I visited Jennifer for an issue with my eye in March. I do not wear glasses, nor visit eyecare facilities ever. She was the most wonderful Dr to work with and provided me with so much information, recommendations, and amazing follow-up. Can't recommend her enough and would tell anyone dealing with eye issues to go into Klahanie Eye Care. Thank you!

Service was okay but their billing system is questionable. I had to pay $230 for my annual eye exam which is covered by my insurance, because their billing team claimed that my exam results indicated I had done eye conditions. Isn't this what annual exam is for? To find out what is wrong with your eyes? In my 40+ years of getting annual exams, this was the first time I got charged with eye insurance. Make sure you find out the costs are before you go. I will never go back again.

Horrendous and appalling customer service experienced ever. Ordered a pair of glasses was given a 2 week timeline ended up being over 2 months. During the wait period there weren't any updates, complete radio silence. Had to proactively call several times to inquire and was met with various nebulous excuses/reason about the delay and would NEVER circle back as they say they would and met with BAD ATTITUDE. Most importantly they WON'T OFFER A REFUND. The glasses finally arrived with poor packaging without case which is part of what I paid for. STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND and AVOID AT ALL COST.

Two stars is because they have Very nice and good eye doctor. However if you have a busy schedule and needed to bring kids with you because they are sick and can’t be at daycare, they would want to reschedule the appointment with you for the reason that they don’t want to get sick. Or you need to make arrangement to keep the kid outside from their clinic. And there is no appreciation expressed doing that at all. Only rudeness. When got brought in the appointment , If didn’t hear their question first time clearly and answered it wrong , I got questioned harshly. If you didn’t follow their instruction exactly as expected the first time, you get their attitude. They went through preliminary step before meeting with eye doctor in a rush way and VERY rudely.the way the assistant spoke to me was with too much attitude and judgement , it’s shocking to see it this way and they have been very good before . It was unpleasant the whole process until I get to meet the eye doctor. Very good eye doctor but very unprofessional customer service . They were not like this before. And I hope it’s not common across all patients. But if it is just me, I would want to take it further for a possible prejudice and judgement on their patients which is unethical.And I will not go there just to feel unwelcomed this way any more.

I am not sure about service as I am not done with my appointment but I am already shocked their eye contact fitting is anywhere between $109-209 regardless if you re getting the same exact contacts you already have. WTH?!?!?!?! and no one can explain what exactly is the charge for if you end up with the same contacts. Not going here again if I can avoid it. Came in because it was so conveniently close. but geeesh?!?!?

Good doctors but don’t consider them your “goto” for anything eye emergency related. Switched to KECC so I could see same doctor consistently after years of eye exams with different doctors for my Glasses and contact RX.Unfortunately earlier today I had a piece of hot plastic flip into eye during a project and so I promptly called to set appt to make sure no major damage. I was told that no appointments available for at least two weeks as they are all booked up til Jan 11th (today is Dec 30). KECC recommended to see urgent care (generalist NOT specializing in eyes) if I needed something before then.When I expressed dissatisfaction I was told it’s because its end of the year and people scrambling to get their insurance claims done in time. Not sure if I reached an admin who doesn’t care for the customers well being or what but sounds like Ill have to look elsewhere for an eye doctor that considers possible emergencies when scheduling. The admin told me there was a doctor in Bellevue that reserves some appointments for emergencies however Klahanie Eye Care Center does not.Great for a quick RX but suggest you look elsewhere if you want to establish a relationship with your optometrist for all your eye care needs.

I did not have to wait a long time in the line the doctor was courteous and asked me all my problems she quickly answered all my questions the receptionist also answered my questions about the pricing very clearly I would recommend this clinic

I was promptly met by a friendly staff and with minimal effort was moving forward with my appointment as scheduled. COVID preparedness was one of the best I've seen. The eye doctor I met with was informative, explained everything clearly and provided some additional self-care instructions that were extremely helpful. Looking forward to seeing them every 6 months or so!

Love the care I received here! I have been going to Klahanie eye care for several years. I just this year had an insurance change which lead me to have to seek care somewhere else. I ended up having a bad experience and so came back to Klahanie eye care. Even though they are not in my network I still prefer to come here as the care is excellent. I have seen all the doctors there over the years and they are all wonderful. In my last visit Dr. Jennifer Juang spent almost an hour with me answering all my questions and addressing my eye concerns - she is very kind and compassionate. At the other place I went to I was terrified and Dr. Juang explained to me very carefully about the health of my eyes and even preventative care and what I can do to keep my eyes healthy. It’s always a great experience here. Everyone is super sweet too, the front desk people as well! I would highly recommend Dr. Juang to anyone and already have ☺️!

Dr. Sutter took the time to pay extra attention to my daughter's vision issues. Our appointment went over our allotted time, but Dr. Sutter did her best to ensure that we were well informed and my daughter's vision issues taken care of before we left.

I've been a patient here for a few years. Recently, I ordered contacts through them, paid $15 for shipping and was quoted a few business days for shipment. The contacts never came. I contacted the them and they reported that they had made a mistake and never actually ordered the lenses, and reordered them- quoted a few business days. After over a week, the contacts still hadn't arrived, so I called them back. They were extremely rude and unapologetic over the phone, and claimed this was not their fault- ok. They quoted me 3 business days for the third time, keep in mind this is now over 2 weeks later. After 3 business days, they still didn't come. I have now been quoted another week, and they they did not offer any form of discount/compensation for the trouble and excessive waiting and I still don't have my contacts after a month of waiting.
