I can’t say enough good things about this pharmacy! We have been using this pharmacy for 12 years now and we love it! The pharmacists know us, know about our medications, and go above and beyond to provide excellent service!!!! I would recommend this pharmacy to anyone in the area!

I have been to so many pharmacies and the experience I had here today on 8/10/2025 is the worst so far. Website shows they open at 10:00, so we arrive at 10:10. For some unknown reasons, the female pharmacist already had a really unhappy face when it was our turn after waiting in line. When I asked her if we can take vaccination shots here, she told me that they are short on staff and I need to make an appointment. So I made one appointment at 10:30 and another one at 11:00. After waiting for another 15 mins, I went to the front desk again to check the status. The other male pharmacist told me that they need another 25 mins to prepare the vaccines, so we waited for another 30 mins in the Safeway. When we tried to check in again after waiting for 25 mins, the female pharmacist appeared to be really upset and asked us why we didn’t wait in the waiting room. This is so confusing to me because we literally did everything we were told. Then she apologized for the confusion when I told her loudly that the male pharmacist told us to do so. I am not sure if they are just not happy about working on Sundays or the work itself, but please never give your attitude to the customers, especially when they really did nothing wrong.

The Dr. pharmacist I saw on the morning of Sunday, 8/10/2025, was very rude and aggressive. She told me that my prescription had not been sent by the clinic, but when I checked MyChart, I saw it was sent. I showed it to her and said, “This is the prescription that has been sent,” yet she didn’t even say, “I’m sorry.” She also wasted my time because I had to go back and wait in line again to speak with her.

I only continue to get prescriptions filled here because it is close to home. They are insanely understaffed. Wait times are insane. Please hire more staff. Today I went and the poor pharmacist is working alone, that should never happen.

Fast service if you go thru the Safeway App and have them text you when it's ready. Incredibly convenient.

It's ridiculous how long the wait time is for prescribed medications. I've been waiting for three days, and after all that, I only received one out of the three medications. They told me the rest would be ready within an hour, but I ended up having to come back the next day. I wouldn't recommend this place!

Very poor customer service and very very slow prescription refills. They always have an excuse and not a single prescription has been filled on time.

I'm not surprised this is rated so low. This place is run so poorly and with little care for or about customers. After the Bartells in Issaquah closed (I was there for many years) I have been spending time at different pharmacies trying to find a new home. Safeway is the last one I'm trying and by far the worst. I have spent chunks of time at different pharmacies too get a feel for how they handle prescriptions and customer service. There are one or two staff that is communicative and kind. I have a medication that is hard to keep in stock so it's helpful to have someone that communicates rather than what I get with everyone else which is nope don't have it don't know when we'll get it. One person tells me in the morning they can tell me if it's coming in that day (if I'm lucky enough that she's working), and the others tell me to call after 3. For all my other prescriptions, they are never filled in a timely manner. If I call too check on them I'm told I'll get a text when there ready but no estimated time frame and some aren't even filled that same day. When I'm physically at the store picking up meds and ask about one that should also be ready I'm met with such rudeness... How dare I have the nerve to ask. Stay far away. Both the Rite Aid, Walgreens, and CVS in Target are far superior.

I have always had a pleasant experience at this pharmacy. All of the pharmacists are clear in directions of medications explaining medication interactions Etc Christiana is one of my favorite Pharmacy techs! They do get very busy so sometimes the weight can be a little bit to get your prescription. But what pharmacy isn't? Just a little patience. I was shocked reading all of the negative reviews I definitely don't agree with them and I've been using this Pharmacy for a couple of years now. I have never seen any unprofessional behavior from any of the pharmacists at all. I saw a reference to the pharmacist Steven and what I read was absolutely out of his character and even on his most frustrated days with tons of people in line I have never seen him exude ill Behavior towards anybody! I feel like sometimes there's a lot of Karen's writing these reviews.

This is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. The balding pharmacist is rude and always making remarks and rolling his eyes. While shopping, I got a text saying my child’s prescription was ready (auto-refill). I went by the pharmacy to pick it up, not knowing that it was close to closing time, and the pharmacist and the assistant both went “Uggghhh” and rolled their eyes. Like hello, I’m right here and I can see you! I only stopped by because I got the text right at that time. I have called to refill prescriptions and they EARLIEST they could have it ready was in 2-3 days, and when I go to get it in 2-3 days, it’s not ready. It’s not worth going here, even if it’s close to my house.

Absolutely worthless, don’t come here if you value your time. I asked if a prescription would be ready while I was shopping in the store. I was told it would be ready later the same day. So I (foolishly) made a separate trip back later, only to be told it will be ready the next day.
