If you shop here, make sure to check your receipt.
I visited this past Saturday while exploring the shops in Gilman Village. The positives: the shop has a lovely curated selection of home goods, stationery, beauty products, and toys.
However: I happened to check my receipt as we were leaving Gilman Village and discovered that 2 of 3 items on my receipt were $2 more than the price I saw in-store.
- Plush toy: $18 on price tag, charged $20
- Fountain pen: $10 on price tag, charged $12
When I returned to the store, the employee working that day said she could correct the price of the plush, but not the fountain pen because “the price tag belonged to a different item.” When I pointed out that it was in fact the same item, the employee said the price tag actually reflected “the old price” and she couldn’t do anything about it as just a part-time worker.
Whether $10 or $12, I would have bought the pen — but just how many other pricing discrepancies are there in this store? How many customers have shopped here and been charged more than they realized because they didn’t think they needed to check, or even ask for, their receipt?
All this to say, I had planned to bookmark this shop for future gift shopping, but this price tag confusion and the unsatisfying resolution makes me uneasy about shopping here again.

Very well curated. I purchased a travelers notebook and a fountain pen and it made an excellent gift. Exceptional service from the owners and attention to detail.

I went to Gilman Village specifically to buy something from this store. Hours say open at 10am. I went early and waited until 10:15am and it still wasn't open. Very frustrating and a waste of my precious time as a busy mom.

I liked this shop, they had some cool products. Very small with a small selection but nice items. Good place to go gift shopping. I’d come back again if I had time to kill and were in the area.
