so I opened up a bank account there and the service at this particular branch was totally amazing the teller's are kind extremely professional, and know the product I sat down with a Banker and we talked about me needs .. They have a free checking account that I totally recommend. I am so glad i opened my account there .

I was told, when I bought a couple of CD's, that the interest rates at Umpqua we're low because of the economy. I believed them and got a couple anyway with the belief that interest rates would eventually increase and I could reinvest with a greater return later. Same story next year. I then looked into other bank's intrest rates to find that most were at were at 1% ,2%, or at least two points higher than Umpqua .If you are looking to grow your money short term definitely shop around. Also, the in bank service in Issaquah has gone down at bit, not as friendly or welcoming. Online service is pretty good and account security is very excellent.

This has to be the worst bank in Washington State. I opened my account during Covid, explaining I needed a place for my stimulus check to be deposited, and that I am disabled on SSI and have a very limited income, especially during the pandemic. These people opened an account for me then closed it without explanation or notice due to a week or so of inactivity with a zero balance. No one told me there was a minimum balance, no one told me my account was no longer working... I didn't find out until I went to use it, and couldn't... only to find out it had been suspended for absolutely no good reason, and they didn't even bother to tell me, I had to find out from paypal via Deposit-rejection-notice. I called in and spoke to some European sounding woman, twice at the Issaquah branch. She assured me my account was restored and I wouldn't have any issue. Over a week later the ATM still will not take cash deposits, and transfers are still getting rejected. I call back in, frustrated beyond words, only to find out they had also cancelled my VISA, not told me anything about that, not even when I called and spoke to the woman in the issaquah branch... and offered no solutions to get me a working card again quickly, simply mentioning some nonsense about unresolved dispute from many months back that had already been settled to my knowledge. AVOID THIS BANK

Umpqua Bank's motto is "The World's Greatest Bank." It started as a joke sign in the office of the bank's president when it was a tiny little bank in a little town in Oregon. Now, it's a large regional bank, but it's sure treated our business (and me) like we're people in their own community.We didn't have our paperwork lined up for the first round of PPP loans, but the Svetla, the community manager at the Issaquah branch, kept personally in touch with me about what was going on and answered my questions quickly. Last Thursday, hours before the House passed the PPP extention, my branch sent an email saying that they were accepting new applications. Our amazing bookkeeper worked with me on the final numbers and pieces of info to complete the application, and it was in 2 1/2 hours after they opened. We wouldn't have been able to do that had Umpqua not done such a good job of communicating from day one.Today our wonderful banker, Annette, called with great news--we've been approved by the SBA and we'll have the funds in about a week, once the loan documents are prepared and signed.From day one, our experience at Umpqua's Issaquah branch has been exceptional and I can't recommend this bank highly enough.Because they truly are the world's greatest bank.

Absolutely the worst banking related experience I've had in my lifetime, and I'm not a young person! They have absolutely no regard for their customers, and will ignore any inquiries you may have - and I've been an excellent customer! God only knows what they do to their poor customers!
