We had dinner here tonight with extended family and had a wonderful experience.
I ordered the Swiss cheese mushroom burger, which was excellent—very flavorful and cooked perfectly. Ray had the Salisbury steak and really enjoyed it, and I also tried the African chicken soup. I’m not entirely sure what all the spices were, but it had a great kick—spicy, rich, and absolutely delicious. Our friends ordered cheeseburgers as well, and everyone was happy with their meals. The Cajun-seasoned tater tots were a standout too—crispy and full of flavor.
The atmosphere is fantastic, especially the large, heavy wood bar right on the harbor. It has a warm, classic waterfront feel. A fun and unexpected highlight for my husband was the men’s bathroom—the urinals are massive and look like something straight out of a Frankenstein movie. Very unique and memorable (we’re posting photos).
