Wyatt has tremendous old fashioned customer service. He’s always cheerful and asks for my ID every time as protocol insists. An asset to any company and managerial potential.

The deli is not very good. The chicken is all over cooked and leathery. You buy 16 pieces and you might get 2 edible pieces and 14 dog toys. I've made the mistake of buying from this deli about 6 times with the idea that maybe I'm just coming in at the wrong time or something, but there doesn't appear to be a time of day during the week where the deli food isn't completely ruined. It's a shame, because many other Safeways have excellent deli food. Other than that the rest of the store is good, service is friendly, and overall a solid 3 star experience. Just be cautious of the deli.

Pumps are extremely slow, les than 1 gallon/min. And somehow, I pumped 13.7 gallons into my car that has a 13.2 gallon tank...and my tank had a few gallons in it to start with. So I paid for a few gallons that I didn't get.

Staff are friendly here. Ambiance is ok I mean it's a grocery store lol you can't expect too much from it. It's no haggen or Whole Foods but it's decent.

I made an order to be picked up at 7 pm on 9/6. First thing in the morning, I changed my pickup time to 4 pm. By 3:45, I still not get a text about my order. When I checked, my time was moved back to 7 pm. I'm 43 miles from Safeway so I headed out around 6:15 pm. When I get into Kelso, I got an text that my order was delayed. I have problems seeing after twilight so I called the store to move my order to 9/7. I headed down to Safeway at 3:30 pm. This is a 86 mile round trip for me. I pulled into my spot and let them know I was there. I was told I was third in line there was only one person. Ok, I have to wait. I understand. But when all of the cars before me pulled out and new ones are getting their groceries, I called again. They said they could not find my order. But no one told me they were having a problem. I told them I was coming into the store because I could not trust that they would cancel my order as requested. When I got to customer service, I explained what was happening. They finally put my groceries in my car. Afterward the guy told me he just forgot about me. After driving home 43 miles I realize they never put my frozen food in my car. When I called, they offered to cancel them but I need my groceries! This has cost me a tank of gas and 240 miles on my car plus I didn't get home until 5:40pm. This is why minimum wage should never get high wages. Higher wages need to be earned. Horrible experience in one of my favorite stores.

Love this Safeway the staff is friendly and I always find what I need. I also appreciate this location for the lack or lightness of homelessness. I don't have an issue with the prices, and the complaints on here are slightly ridiculous.

Literally the worst place I have been in for mask compliance. I saw nothing being done to get customers to confirm to the health dept state wide mandate. Literally half the customers completely unmasked. Won't be back.

the clerks today , Jody , Tracy and Ivan are awesome and very courteous! me and a friend pulled in on our bikes and got some refreshments. A plus service. i give um 5 stars!
