Here are the type of people you'd deal with, because of a bad review I gave them they decided to take it out on my mother their aunt. They are cowards who won't call me directly to work things so in turn they decided to uninvite my mom to their daughters wedding. They've lied repeatedly about me saying I called the BBB on them and posted stuff on Facebook, I only did a review here because Ganons guys misdiagnosed my truck costing me money I didn't have to spend at the time and when I told him about it my cousin just laughed in my face! They are not good people, they are greedy con artists.
P.S. I am turning them into the BBB now that I was accused of it anyway lol good luck!

Thomas Automatic Transmissions is incredible! No one can beat their competitive pricing, hardworking precision, and caring customer service! They go above and beyond to get the job done and get it done right and quickly too! I brought in a remanufactured transmission and had them install it. They took great care of my rig and had it done and back to me the very next day! They were even kind enough to hold the core there so it could be picked up and returned. It was a bit of a hassle getting picked up, because the company that sold me the reman never sent us the shipping stuff. So, NOTHING to do with Thomas Auto Transmissions. However, the core was in their way for almost 2 weeks (SO sorry about that, guys!). Still and all, Thomas Transmissions provided the same level of kindness and care even after they had serviced my truck and were gracious and patient while I figured things out on my end. My truck is driving like a dream and I was so thankful to have it back after one day at their shop and the job was done right! I have been recommending them to everyone I know and have nothing but great things to say about this awesome family-owned business that also gives back to the community (they sponsor little leagues here in town!). I am practically writing a book here because I am so satisfied! I see they also do other shop work. If I ever need any other service, I know I will most definitely come back! Spread the word folks! Thomas Automatic Transmission is the best in town, hands down!

Appears to do good work so far. Three different cars taken there and always got good service. Another is on it's way so we will see if it continues.

This place is ....there are no words to describe this place . Go there , they get the job done right . We had the best experience taking our dodge ram in and they fed us lobster . Yes, lobster. The friendliest place in all of cowlitz county. I even had a taste of the best smoked salmon from a guy that works there ( must be a brine recipe thats been in his family cause he way too young to make it that great . ) I wont mention his name fear of getting recipe stolen from him. Trust me just go here . Thanls for a job well done Thomas Transmission .Service: Transmission

I have a vintage 1988 Chevrolet Caprice Estate Wagon with a 2004r transmission that had a faulty TCC shift solenoid malfunction causing my converter to lock up. I've had several of these transmissions over the years and it's a recurring issue with the 200r4 so I purchased the parts and called to schedule an appointment. They got me in quickly, made the repair perfectly and didn't try to upsell me. I was in and out in less than an hour. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and very professional and now my transmission shifts factory new. Their prices are very reasonable as well. In my 54 years I have dealt with some horrible mechanics, especially transmission shops. This is not one of them and I would highly recommend them any day of the week. Teo thumbs up!

Not a transmission shop.More like A LIEbrary, where the fiction is HIGH, like SCIENCE FICTION, futuristic dreams of a Silverado pioneering space without any motor or transmission. .While there, in the office, I did notice a fictional book titled: I wanna be a transmission mechanic when I grow up. I wonder if they actually read it, or another disgruntled costumer secretly dropped it off.The owners wife, lied to me, said she was going to give me my money back, but because she didn't like my comment about Maddies Garage in Hillsboro could teach them how to rebuild transmissions, she wasn't going to.I'm a single father of two little girls, I already got burnt by Always Affordable Auto in Vancouver when I bought my 99 Silverado for $5,000, with a bad transmission. Not even a 4x4.I paid $2,000 for the rebuild at Generation Transmission in Warren Oregon before they took over Thomas Transmission in Longview. It only lasted 6 months. They rebuilt it under warranty. It went out again within 6 months. By now they had moved all the way over to Longview, and I took it there for them only to do a transmission service job for $350. It went out a few weeks later on, just as I became employed at Bretthauer Road Oil, where the awesome owner, Steve Bretthauer hooked me up with Maddies Garage, and helped me pay the new rebuild off: $3,000. And let me borrow the company truck; all within the first week of employment.I have excellent reviews for Bretthauer Road Oil and Maddies Garage, but nothing good to say for Generation/ Thomas Transmission.
