“The prices are better than a nearby competitor and they have about the same size selection. They always have discounts rotating through the week so I drop in at least a couple times. It's locally owned as well, clean, and friendly.”

“Hands down my new favorite thrift store! The cleanliness, and organization is unmatched. It feels more like a normal store and not a second hand store. Their pricing is fantastic, and their employees are friendly!”

“I love Lucky dog! I’ve been going there to buy and sell merchandise since I was in college. They are always helpful, cool, and they have a great social media presence. Keep it up!”

“I like this shop especially because of the atmosphere. The inner environment is bright, friendly, and cheerful. This is very different from many others, where the light is dim and you cannot even see the condition clearly. Staff is very nice and attentive, not pushy at all. Good for shy people like me!!”

“Amazing people who work there! They obviously love what they do! They make shopping fun! Highly recommend this shop especially in comparison to the neighboring consignment store! Night and day difference!”

“Keep returning to this little gem, volunteer staff members are friendly and helpful and it's always a fun treasure hunt. While small in size the selection is quite good, name brand items for clothing, shoes and accessories, great finds in the kitchen section and lots of vintage crystal, silver, porcelain sets. They also have color coded tags with 50-75% off and rotate their selections frequently. Love this place!”

“The staff is incredibly friendly. Jason and the women here remember me and my kids by name and it’s overall such a great place. Prices are great and better than the Goodwill across the street. There are two floors here but it’s a bummer for people in wheelchairs or strollers because there’s no elevator to go up.”

“This store has historically better prices than Goodwill, although lately they seem to have raised prices on their vintage items. I love coming here for the friendly service as well.”

“This store is full of goodies. However, if you try to donate please call before going. Two times in the last 6 months I've been refused when I tried to donate. Evidently they have more donations than they can handle. I still enjoy shopping here. You must call ahead to leave any donations!”

“Very small store. They dont have the variety the other stores have due to the size and space. This is a great place for UW students to get stuff. Wish they had more room.”

“Got a cute colorful dress here today. The woman working here was very cheerful and kind. This is my sister's favorite place to pop in and look at clothes. Really cool that purchases go toward helping people in need. :) Lovely store with stylish clothes!”

“Gratitude to LLTS for masking Thursdays. This is disability justice at work, small acts of community safety that enacts harm reduction for people with disability to be able to return to thrift knowing Thursdays are safe-enough. such small brilliant strategy, everyone should do this!”

“I love the selection of clothing, accessories, art and housewares at this gem of a thrift store. The volunteers are all friendly and helpful. The shop is sparkling clean and the prices seem fantastic”

“This place is amazing! I went in today for the first time after refusing to pay $10-15 on used pants in ok shape at value village. I bought clothes for myself, daughter and boyfriend on the tag sale day for $1.99 a piece!!!! This place literally has it all, from clothes, shoes, toys, kitchen items, glassware, furniture, you name it. I will be a forever customer and will be sharing with everyone I know! And if you don't buy used that's ok too! You can donate your items here instead of goodwill and value village!”

“What is not to love? The latest quality brands and styles in all sizes for what the original owner paid in taxes and now you can wear for years. Great, friendly service, large, clean dressing rooms and 1 week return on everything with receipt. Finally, spend your money here, engage your community and give locals a job.”

“What a hidden gem of a thrift store that is completely volunteer run! I love finding high quality clothes at really low prices on the main strip in Ballard. It is so nice to know all the money goes to help children.”

“Donated a huge amount of books - Nobel was extremely helpful and when I ran into him inside he recognized me and was super kind. What a pleasant trip to Goodwill!”

3.9 Good191 Reviews

“The staff are friendly and helpful in unloading donations. They move an amazing amount of cars through in a very short period of time. Wonderful alternative to throwing things in the garbage, and used items are sometimes better than new! My favorite jacket is from Goodwill.”

3.9 Good25 Reviews

“Always good stuff. Seems that staff work very hard to try and keep the store looking nice. Too bad many people are awful and disrespectful when it comes to acting like a decent human in a retail establishment.”

“Can it get better than recycling for a good cause donated hardwood furniture, gently used loveseats, and couches? It can. This Restore has new home goods overstock like queen memory foam mattresses, linen sheets, butcher block countertop, and knitted throws right now. Proceeds go to building affordable housing through a network of volunteers. If you forget to bring your measuring tape, just ask the friendly staff for help. This is a place where hope in humanity is restored even in the smallest ways.”

“I heard about Lucky Dog from a friend who is a huge fan of the store on the Ave, and I am so glad I decided to check it out. They had an AMAZING selection of dunks, vintage tees, and designer bags. I ended up leaving with 2 Louis Vuitton bags at an extremely reasonable price. The owner was so friendly and all of the staff was very helpful.”

“Wonderful store! The remodel looks beautiful. Lots of light to shop by. The volunteers are more than willing to help you find whatever your needs are. Every Tuesday is 20%off for seniors.”

“Since moving from Seattle to Bothell, this has become my go-to thrift store. It is far from the best Goodwill when compared with Dearborn or Shoreline. So don't expect to find the steals, but you will find deals. Well organized, generally clean and well-kept, friendly staff. Will continue shopping here as long as I am on the upper Eastside.”

“So sad this place closed. I liked thrifting there and I remember volunteering here while I was in high school during the summer breaks for community service hours. This was such a neat store. They’d make us iron out the clothes with a steamer and the items were well curated. I hope this store reopens again….”

“Nice, clean offices located on lower Queen Anne. Also has a sandwich shop available on bottom floor. Street parking - 2 to 4 hr options but must pay. Also pay public parking lot next door. Free side street parking 2 blocks north of building.”

“The store itself, convenient and always something good to find more often than not.If you are dropping things off, expect a line. If there is a line, be prepared to sit in it. If you don't want to wait, then leave. I today on November 27th have been sitting in this line for an hour now. I am right up front although they're not letting anybody in because they are packing a truck. It's just how it is.It would be helpful if somebody who works at the Goodwill gave people a heads up as to what was going on. When I got to the 25 minute mark of waiting, I had called. The gal that I spoke to whose name I did not get was super kind. When I waited for another 25 minutes and called, that was not so much the case. "Evelyn" if that is his real name, absolutely did not need to be as rude as he or they were. Perhaps a bunch of people were calling, I get that. Had I called and was angry I would understand that. Not the case. I had nowhere to be, I could have sat out there another hour until the drop off line closed. No need to be rude.I wish a better system was in play.So again, for those donating, if there's a wait, be prepared to wait. Honking the horn does nothing”
