“Helping Hands Thrift Store was actually a pretty nice and clean space. There was a large assortment of items for sale, and some of the stuff was very nice for being at a thrift store. I do feel comfortable recommending this location to everyone.

“Love this store! I first discovered it in Queen Anne and have followed them to their Ballard location.
It offers a great, well-curated selection, at reasonable prices. The staff is always welcoming, and I often discover new brands while shopping.
The size of the store is big enough to offer variety while not so big that it feels overwhelming in scale.

“This is like good will but for bigger items like furniture and appliances. You can also find some smaller items. There were lots of dog toys and the like and a few very good pieces is furniture”
“The staff are friendly and helpful in unloading donations. They move an amazing amount of cars through in a very short period of time. Wonderful alternative to throwing things in the garbage, and used items are sometimes better than new! My favorite jacket is from Goodwill.”
“This particular Goodwill is my favorite thrift shop. They have a great assortment of clothing and household goods across two floors. They pull more trendy items to the front near the doors and the housewares/decor section feels curated.
They also have parking and rarely a long line at the back for donations.
And: the last time I was there I managed to drop my wallet! A store employee happened to pick it up right out front and got it locked up in the lost and found. Thank You!!!🩷🩷🩷”
“Nice, clean offices located on lower Queen Anne. Also has a sandwich shop available on bottom floor. Street parking - 2 to 4 hr options but must pay. Also pay public parking lot next door. Free side street parking 2 blocks north of building.”
“Found some great pieces for my wardrobe and aesthetic. A glass lamp that was placed on a high shelf fell on me while I was looking at dresses, but staff cleaned it up like immediately and was apologetic. Will come again :]👍”

“The stuff I find here is generally in better condition than most other Goodwill locations. Being in close proximity to Woodway, an affluent area, the quality of donations is significantly higher. The upscale neighborhood means that the items donated are often gently used or even brand new, making this Goodwill a treasure trove compared to those in less affluent areas.”

“I really love this thrift store, the location is right on my way and I’m a big thrifter. I’ve been going here for little over 3 years now and have had some great experiences, the staff are great and very helpful. I just wish prices where a little more reasonable I can’t see anyone purchasing a pair of dirty off brand shoes for 30$ and many of the clothing prices are actually close to or above the retail value listed online. I’ve never done pricing so I’m sure there are many factors I’m not thinking about but when I see a fruit of the loom shirt listed at 10$+ it does make you wonder. But over all a nice little spot to pop in if you have time to kill.”
