This place is dump and always has been. The staff knows zero and couldn't care less. The hours have always seemed arbitrary and random. Someone just told me, "Hey, the L.A, Fitness by QFC has closed permanently." My question is, "How can you tell?'

Mask compliance is terrible. Do Not go here unless you are vaccinated. Staff talk the talk and have signs posted but practically no one on the treadmills or bikes keeps their mask on once they start to workout.

I've starting using this location after the Bothell location was permanently closed. A couple years ago they reduced their hours and now close at 9PM on weekdays and even earlier on weekends. As other reviewers pointed out the photos are misleading and this particular LA Fitness location looks nothing like this. The cardio equipment is old and frequently broken. If you're a runner you'll notice that on the few working treadmills the speed is mis-calibrated and the machine shows you going ~0.5 mph slower or faster than your actual speed. The weight section is in significantly better shape than the cardio room and has some newer machines and a decent sized area with mats and TRX.

Reaching management beyond club level is impossible!! I spent 3+ weeks trying! Even when getting a work email you will not get a response. They do NOT care about the clients. Staff is friendly at this location.

Don't turn on the bright lights in the bike room.

Nice little neighborhood gym. Clean! A little bit older but doesn't have high traffic times.

I like this location a lot. The staff has been great so far. But for me it's the layout that makes this location really appealing. Most of the other locations I've been to are just too open, everything in one huge room which can be overwhelming. This location has cardio upstairs and the weight room downstairs. Really great for someone just getting into fitness because it's less intimidating. It feels more like a neighborhood gym and not a hot bod factory.

I'm updating my prior review as they seem to be making inroads on cleaning the place. It's a work in progress.

They just removed FOX News from cardio machines. Can you believe they left MSNBC and NBC News for only source of News? Either the manager and/or owners are progressive hacks or the old liberals that occupy the place petitioned to have it removed. Either way this gym sucks. The equipment is old and not maintained. Like others said: you never see anybody wiping down equipment.

Place is a dive! But it's only 9 minutes from my house and $15 from when I used to belong to Vision Quest before LA Fitness bought em. Want a good, cheap, small gym, this is your place. None of those pics are from the gym lol.

I was hesitant to workout at this location due to the low Yelp reviews but I am pleased with the weights and cardio equipment. It does not have a hot tub or pool like the Everett and Lynnwood locations but it has what I need to stay active. Working in real estate it's challenging as it is to incorporate exercise. This location helps me stay active. They also have free WiFi and their showers are better than the ones in Everett and Lynnwood. There is a sauna in the women's locker room. The staff did not harass me about purchasing anything. Upstairs is the cardio room and downstairs is the weight room which are easily accessible by stairs or elevator. The machines are older ones but it gets the job done. They also have barbells with straight bars which is not offered in the Everett and Lynnwood locations. The carpet is older but still clean. As for cleanliness, I saw two of the employees wipe down cardio equipment. I am very pleased.

It can be crowded at times but overall there’s always an elliptical or a set of weights available
