BBD did a wonderful job. They really know their business. Best of all they kept us informed at all the stages. When they said they would show up they were right on schedule. The installers and staff were all friendly, courteous, and efficient.

We absolutely LOVE our new Lanai and railing! Abe and Mandon were so courteous, cheerful and pleasant. We feel like we have new friends as well as a great addition to our yard. I especially appreciated how they worked to make sure that my wish for strong places to mount swings could be accommodated, and that they informed me carefully where would be the strongest, safest locations and why. They helped us get a good balance of esthetics and the most shade by adjusting the height and angle, as well as the overhang of the roof. They even suggested the best location for a downspout or chain, AND took the time to help us get our electrical wire strung up one column (we had it ready) so it did not need to be on the outside. EVERY step of the way they were excellent. They are among the VERY best contractors we have ever had on our property and we have had MANY, building two homes and remodeling this one in our 35 years of marriage, Thank you very much for a lovely product that will be used and loved beginning immediately on this 96 degree day! It is as lovely underneath the cover as it is to look at it! I will be sure to post a picture as soon as we hang our swings and finish the landscaping around it.

Backyard by Design just finished building a beautiful, high end, patio cover for our backyard. Jake and my wife worked together and created the perfect layout, which complements the patio space adjacent to our pool.Mandan and Abe made it a reality with their exceptional work . The finished product is truly stunning and enhances our limited space exceptionally well. Their attitude and abilities really made the construction phase a breeze.Through it all, Jessica kept things running as smooth as possible, given all the challenges surrounding product availability during Covid and our cold winter.We could not be more pleased with the outcome and highly recommend this company!

These guys did a great job from start to finish!! Very professional and quick to come out to give and estimate. They took two days to install our patio cover and it turned out great. Would highly recommend them if your in the market for some upgrades.

This was a dream 12 years in the making. I had envisioned my patio (11x36) with a classic, maintenance free cover when we bought the house 12 years ago. Jake, Roberto and Mandan made it happen. My backyard went from a space we loved to enjoy, to a space we can't wait to entertain in as well as enjoy ourselves!!
The crew at Backyard By Design were awesome! They not only do an amazing job on the project itself they are also very professional. They arrived to do the job ready to work, they cleaned up the work area and were great all around. I would HIGHLY recommend them .

The employees arrived on time, were courteous, and were knowledgeable and polite when we asked questions. The patio cover is beautiful, and the skylight panels still provide light for our living room. We are actually going to be able to use our patio during the day in this Tri-Cities heat. Jake & Jessica, the owners, were wonderful to work with and guided us through the design process.

We were recommended this company by another that we had doing some yard work for us. These guys came in to build a new deck to replace an old and wobbly one. We ended up going with Trex for the long term ease of care. The crew was fantastic. They worked so quickly, even when it was raining! Our new deck is so solid and wonderful. It’s even better than I imagined. Jake was great to work with to design something new. Highly recommend them for any deck or patios!
