Husband went in @545 pm on 7-19-25
Person working counter wouldn’t even help him because he didn't bring the battery he was replacing with him. Told my husband exactly that i cant help you!!!
This guy was very short and very rude!
It was obvious he didnt want to be at work we went somewhere to buy the battery.
Will not return to this syore.

I normally don’t do reviews like this unless it’s worth my time and I feel like I should to possibly help others that may be in a similar situation. First off I made an “appointment “ on batteries plus’s website for Tue at 10am I bring it in and the younger gentleman starts taking a look at it but the way he looked a bit confused like he shouldn’t be working there…idk if he was new or just not very knowledgeable but it made me nervous off the bat, he continues to try and “figure it out” and after 20 min he says I’m good now and prints out an invoice for me to look at (mind you I messed up and thought it was an ipad2 when scheduling but it’s in fact a ipad9 ) price for screen replacement was 99.99 + tax he then tells me it’s a min of up to two day turnaround but could be done sooner if they can get to it earlier…idk what the point of scheduling an appointment online is? Might as well drop it off at your convenience and just wait. I leave and wait for the repair, I call the next morning and they tell me that it’s not been worked on yet but should be done by end of day.. ok cool, 1 hour later they call me to let me know that it is not an iPad 2 but and iPad 9 (my mistake) and the price will double to $199 +tax! AND they don’t have the screen in stock so I would have to wait for them to order it. I then decide that is WAY TOO MUCH when I can get a refurbished one on Amazon for $239… after letting them know I will just pick it up they are fine with my decision. I go into the store and a man that appears to be a manager helps me and gives me back my iPad tells me sorry about that and I tell him it’s ok! I called EZ FIX Cell phone repair and he was able to fit me in for an appointment in one hour has the part in stock and is only $110+tax the man is in shock and says “oh well hopefully they don’t mess it up” cause the screens are different (like I wouldn’t confirm it was correct after this?) anyways 2 hours later from leaving their store my son is on the couch happy again able to play his iPad:)
Things to take away from this for myself 1: always double check your device before getting quotes 2: always call around (which I normally do) cause there might be better deals and availability
As for Batteries Plus 1:please have your employees double check the devices before giving quotes to help confirm it’s correct incase the customer messes up ;) instead of letting the customer know 24 hours later waisting valuable time. 2: LOWER YOUR PRICES in todays market you have to be competitive you don’t want to end up like radio shack..plus repairs SHOULDN’T cost just as much as purchasing a new one thats just bad business.
3: fix the appointment scheduling on the website if that’s not when you are actually fixing the device then disclose that information or take it off completely just a thought. 4: just all around better training/customer service I’m not trying to bash just giving some constructive criticism.
You have all the great things posted on your website yet I didn’t experience any of them :(

This was my first time visiting the store, and I was very impressed. I had placed my order online, and the battery was ready when I arrived. The technician started by checking the original battery before replacing it. Even after finding a low voltage, he didn’t rush to replace it—instead, he carefully checked the alternator to make sure the issue wasn’t elsewhere. His approach was honest and clearly not driven by making a sale. Once he confirmed the battery needed replacing, he handled it professionally and completed final checks afterward. I also received the advertised refund for the old battery. Overall, the service was excellent, and I highly recommend this place based on my first—and lasting—experience.

Hayden was able to help us very quickly and professionally. We were in crisis mode over my wife’s Apple Watch 7, and the crew at Batteries Plus saved us and put a smile on our faces with their customer service. Will be going back when we’re inevitably in trouble again.

Very good price on the 8 batteries I bought, the staff was MORE than helpful. I had thought the price included exchange and argued, but when I returned home and looked the sales info over they were right on the money (literally). I contacted them and and apologized for not paying attention to the sales terms.

So i took both my kids ipad to batteries plus. I would NEVER recommend that place to anyone. We had an absolutely terrible experience and my daughters ipad left in worse condition than it was when i took it in. The previous place i took it to was less than half of the cost. Only wanted a screen replacement, they left fingerprints on the inside of the new screen and the digitizer. Was put together so terribly that there’s obviously the visible fingerprints along with dust and other fuzzies, and on top of that her ipad shuts off after less than a minute of using it and now it wont charge or even stay powered on, which had never been an issue until their “repair” Unfortunately i did have to go full karen to get a refund, which i can now put that $220 towards a new ipad for her.

They were able to repair my cellphone battery quickly. They even had the correct battery in stock. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Open Sunday's too!

Batteries Plus or Batteries and Bulbs does not recycle batteries free of charge, you have to pay.

Great customer service both on the phone or in-store. Great selection of batteries from kids toys to my commercial truck batteries. I have also purchased specialty projector bulbs from them as well. Always willing to help, check batteries, and let you know about current promotions to save a few bucks!
