Somehow the self-checkout stands made this place 10x less efficient. Every time I come in there’s only one employee bothering to work, while the other two are either sitting on their phone or talking with customers. And the one employee who actually is working seems to be incapable of multitasking, you can check IDs at the self checkout while you wait for someone to count out change for their purchase, it’s not difficult.

Every time I go into this store the cashiers are just sitting around talking or doing NOTHING but when I’m ready to pay they point to the self checkout machine I know it’s there but I have cash. I waited around almost 15mins the guy was just sitting down eating idk if he was on his break but I just ended up leaving. This last time I was walking to the counter and some crazy looking girl she was the cashier was like “I need ID” with attitude I wasn't even at the counter yet and they were talking very loud complaining about there job as if it isn't the easiest job ever. The guy a little older was saying if ppl can’t be patient coming in here then they can go to the circle k down the street. I’m sure his lazy behind would love that as that was the same man who was sitting down eating that dident help me. This is a really nice location! These unprofessional ppl need to be trained better.

Im new to the Tri-cities area (less than 2mo) and im very much aware of the lack of diversity in demographics. That being said MOST PEOPLE have been polite… curious, but polite. (I’m a black woman w/locs) My most recent experience here was EYE opening. I walk up to the register to make a purchase, I’m behind two (Hispanic) gentlemen so I wait patiently. As they complete their transaction, another gentleman walks up behind me (white) as the cashier (white man) finishes w/ the people in front of me, I walk towed the counter and he (the cashier) commences to call over the last gentleman “I can help you here if you like”…. To which I respond “was I not next? I’m sorry, am i invisible?” And the cashiers response was “no” yet continued on w/the other customer. So I watched and waited (maybe 5min) as he helped person after person… 😮 I finally left, but did mention that I took notice of the people he choose to help and the ones he didn’t.
Nothing will change his mind (old age) yet I, nor anyone that looks like me HAS to spend money here. It’s 2024, such a shame!! Smh

3:15 on a Friday, quitting time for a lot of people. As per usual, no hot food. This case is empty more often than it has food in it. Has gone way downhill since the remodel. Terrible service, always items out of stock, no hot food

Its 11:56am on a Sat went in to grab some quick food before we hit the road and they had absolutely nothing available but yet they have signs all over the outside stating hot food inside.

They obviously don't put things in the right place or the labels aren't right. Either way when I ask the new cashier to go look at the price tag that was $4.99 and somehow came to $11 something at the register so he denys selling to me. In a very rude manner and says there's nothing he can do.... I'm not down for that when I have been giving my business to them since long before they were a big gas station is not cool. Laura, Ashley and Jeff are amazing though!

I went there to get some items and the doors were locked and there was a sign on the door that read bathroom break,how cheap the owner should have hired two ppl.
