if i could give a zero i would. my mother booked a appointment and we got our confirmation email but nobody showed up. they didn’t even bother to call to inform us that they weren’t coming to the scheduled appointment. we called them, and the told us that they “over booked.” they obviously don’t care about their customers and i wouldn’t recommend

Please with the service she our compressor went out on our frig. It was covered on warranty and lucky for us the tech had just 1 compressor left in the truck. The tech arrived within 4 1/2 hours of me scheduling appointment and in less than 2 hrs he checked it all out, replaced the compressor and refrigerant and while waiting vacuumed out my coils while the cover was off. I am not pleased with Sears Kenmore brand knowing they have same defective compressor built by LG in all their Kenmore Elite models specifically those models begins with #795, but LG wouldn't allow Kenmore labeled models to be entered into the class action lawsuit against LG for same failed compressor which LG Provided and placed into Kenmore models for Sears . Had they been I might have recovered more in a claim along with not paying labor and gotten some or all of the $500 worth of drug/freezer food lost in the week were gone that the compressor went out. We were luck our frig was only 4 years old, otherwise it may have been more expensive to upgrade the computer board for the replacement compressor. The replacement compressor is only has a 90 day warranty whereas the original one had 10Year warranty on compressor. Do your research before you buy another Kenmore frig and compare repair and longevity rating with other manufacturers.

The service I have received from Sears was the worst from any vendor ever in my 52 years. I purchased a top of the line professional model microwave for nearly a $1000. When it was delivered and installed, it was damaged. After many calls and transfers to people in the Philippines, and an offer from sears to discount the unit $300 rather than replacing it with an undamaged unit, I got them to send a new microwave. When the delivery team arrived and went to install the unit, it too was damage. Third times a charm right...NOT. After almost a month of trying to connect with Sears, the installer talked to someone and got them to send a replacement unit...but wait, only the delivery...no installation. Again after many calls through the Philippines, the person told me I would have to hire someone to pick up the damaged unit and haul it away after the new one is installed. Sears sucks, don't think you can talk to American that might give a shit...cant get through the automated call system to a human that speaks English. Never will I again purchase a thing from Sears. They absolutely suck...no wonder they are barely hanging on.

Purchased an LG dishwasher from Sears. At 5 months it broke. First replacement part not good so a 2nd was ordered. 2nd part doesn't work so a 3rd was ordered. Now I'm being told the part is on back order and not expected until January. This is November! Trying to work with LG and with A&E Service and all I get is we're sorry. It would be cheaper for them to replace the unit than to put us all through this.

I have not had any good experiences at that Tri Cities location for a few years now, They have almost no cashiers, the phones just ring and ring and ring and no one answers, and if someone happens to pick up, they have no idea what they have or don't have. We are living in College Place, WA now and had been to the Sears in Kennewick several times but now that we have found a Sears in Walla Walla, we only shop there. The smaller shop in WW is very helpful and friendly and give great personalized service.

Sears seems like an ancient dinosaur in the land of more adept and agile businesses. I purchased something online last night. Got the email it was ready for pickup, just needed to bring the email with the barcode, or the sale order #. I arrive, they won't allow me to pick up the items without the credit card used despite what the email says. Too bad I didn't bring that card with me, they made no efforts to honor the contents and instructions in their email. Too bad I won't be going back for a company where the online store says the opposite of their brick and mortar store. Trying to get ahold of customer service...all agents too busy to discuss this...FAIL!!!! Time for Sears to close the doors...back to Amazon for me.

Don't buy online at sears.com. They will use third party vendors and then sell under Sears, but not honor any returns. Merchandise is not quality merchandise. My daughter received a comforter set from sears.com, she washed it according to the washing instructions and it fell apart. They blame my daughter, her washer and her detergent, yet it was 3 days after she received it! Accept responsibility Sears, you used a dishonest vendor. Good thing the credit card company is better. We disputed the charges.

I purchased a Craftman weed eater on April 1. I asked the salesman for a replacement spool of string. He brought it to me and I purchased it all at the same time. Three weeks later, I went to change out the spool and realized it was the wrong one. I ran back to Sears on my way home and they wouldn't let me return it or swap it out without the receipt. The next time I came through, I remembered my receipt but because it was now past 30 days, they said they could not help me. It was 4 days after the 30 day mark. A manager wouldn't help either. Sorry, Ma'am, you're just out of luck. I will NEVER shop there again. There are plenty of other stores with decent customer service to choose from with better prices and selection.

Thanks to Sharon in appliances. Found us what we needed and arranged for us to pick up at the warehouse early in the morning so it would be ready for a major move. The items were ready exactly when and where she promised. Thanks Dan at the warehouse! Hope you enjoyed your Danish.

Don't ever buy any appliances from Sears unless you don't anticipate any issue with the appliances. I recently bought a Kenmore dishwasher from Sears. From day one, it was leaking from the side panel and became worse and worse. It got to the point that water flows out of the side panel and damaged hardwood floor. After technician took a look at it, it was concluded that the defects existed even before the dishwasher was sold and it is not repairable. Sears agreed to exchange for a new one. The story started from here. I have been spending for about 13 hours being bounced off all over the places in the phone by Sears customer solution and have spoken to more than 12 representatives including two supervisors. They all just tried to make the exchange nearly impossible or they are proven to be very incompetent to the point you will finally decide to give up. They also sounded like they are doing customers a favor for considering the exchange. They will make you to wait for more than one month without dishwasher service before the exchange will happen. I finally spoke to a representative and spent 1 hour 20 minutes for something as simple as telling him the item I selected for exchange, paying the difference with credit card, and asking for delivery date. This shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to complete. He also told me to pay extra $100 until I walked through all the items that I was supposed to pay. He then told me he needed to talk to his finance people. After being hold on the phone for more than 10 minutes, i was finally being told by him that he admitted there was a mistake. But at least he finally got the exchange paper work done. Considering the numbers of hours I have spent (13 hours) on the phone ( not including many many additional hours spent to set up technician's onsite inspection and setting up the case number),I have to conclude Sears customer service is very inefficient and intends to make customers life harder.

Used a Sears installer (a professional plumber) to install the water line to my new refrigerator in 2011. Over the weekend, we noticed that our wood floor was swelling around the area of the refrigerator and when we pulled the refrigerator out, we realized that the water line has been leaking, for a while. It looks like the water line had a defect (looks like a burn mark) and the installer covered it with electrical tape to cover up the issue. After a while the water line failed. Called Sears today and was told "Sorry, but we only guarantee our installs for 1 year". When I tried to explain the situation in greater detail to get her to understand that this was obviously an issue from the original install, the customer service rep just hung up. Needless to say, we won't EVER pay for SEARS to install anything ever again.
