“Normally, I like shopping here. I had placed an order for pickup and some shipped items that were 20% off the day before and when I got to the store, they had no record of it. Even though the order was placed online and processed fine (so it seemed), my cart showed as if the order was never processed when I checked my computer later.I didn't go back to the store (which I'm sure they would have tried to help if they could). This was no fault of the local store, but probably an online order processing problem. Too bad, too, because the order included Christmas gifts. The price difference with the discounts was $102 vs $267. ?”
“This place is great, I don't know what you want. But, I'm sure they have it. Decor for you're home or the best empanadas I've ever had. You got it.”
“Columbia Center is a great mall and one of the healthiest shopping centers in the Tri-Cities area.
I visited on a weekend and the place was packed. Lots of people, full stores, active food options, and plenty of energy throughout the mall. In an era when many malls are struggling, it was nice to see one that still feels vibrant and busy.
The mall has a strong mix of retailers as well. During this trip I stopped into Lululemon, picked up a few things at Macy’s, grabbed a boba from Pearl Tea, and even managed to squeeze in a coffee. It was easy to spend several hours here without running out of things to browse.
As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series, I spend a lot of time traveling around the country, and I tend to notice when a mall still feels like an actual community gathering place rather than just a collection of stores.
The layout is easy to navigate, the common areas are clean, and the lighting keeps the entire space feeling bright and welcoming. Everything seemed well maintained during my visit.
Parking wraps around the entire mall, which makes access easy. My only advice is to remember where you parked. The lot is large enough that it’s easy to emerge from the wrong entrance and spend a few extra minutes looking for your vehicle.
Funny enough, people-watching in busy places like this has probably contributed more than once to both The Grant Colson Thriller Series and the Maui Desire Romance Series. You see a lot of personalities pass through a mall on a busy weekend.
A clean, energetic mall with a good mix of stores and one of the better shopping experiences in the region.”
