Daisy was very reluctant to go in the clinic. She must have remembered in the past getting her shots and also a surgery. but after the vet took her in his arms and brought her back--she was calm and Ok with the exam. I was very pleased with the service and the price!

This is the first visit since it changed from Afford-A-Vet. Our service was great. My newly adopted furbaby went in for a check up and everyone was friendly. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend this place!
9/25/24 My boy continues to enjoy his visits and highly approves of Clover. He’s a happy pup the entire time and loves the staff. He even approves of the treats during his booster visits. The staff is impressed with his gentle manners and he is equally impressed with theirs. ❤️

I love Clover Veterinary! They are super responsive whenever I need to schedule an appointment or need advice for my Annie's care! The vets are very kind and knowledgeable and the front desk is personable. I am glad I have them as a resource.

My dog is feeling so much better after a visit with Dr. O’Connell! She is professional, amazing, smart, and compassionate to my dog and myself. I’m so happy I went in, my dog is on the road to recovery! It’s also more affordable than most and I didn’t feel I was taken advantage of. I will bring all of my pets here now!

This may be a little longer but please read for the sake of your pet…I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, BELIEVE ME: ONCE THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT THE REST.
OR BETTER YET…DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST.
I live only 3 minutes away from this place and I went there exactly because of that & also because I really thought they were different from the company before them which was called: “Afford-A-Vet”. well guess what? THEY TURNED OUT TO BE THE SAME starting with the EMPLOYEE AT THE FRONT DESK, SHE DOESN’T LOOK RUDE BUT SHE IS RUDE. She’s one of those passive aggressive people, someone who gives you a fake smile but believe she doesn’t like you. Like 2-3 times she didn’t even let me finish talking and I just didn’t want to make a big deal about it but I’m not stupid, unfortunately I know people like her…I mean, DON’T LIKE ME, DON’T EVEN GIVE A FAKE SMILE, JUST GIVE A GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, THE SERVICE I AM PAYING FOR! BE POLITE & RESPECTFUL & THAT’S IT.
Speaking from my own experience:
I took my pet there and total I spent almost $700 and that’s because at last they did not want to refund my money for a medication they sold to me at the beginning for diarrhea, it never worked and 2 weeks later I called because my pet still had diarrhea and they sold me the same, IT WAS MY FAULT TOO?♀️?♀️I made the mistake of taking that medication out of the stupid clinic without noticing that it was exactly the same I got at the beginning, once at home but until the next day I called and no, manager said NO MONEY BACK, NO MATTER WHAT.
Plus I never heard anything from the Dr. who saw my pet the very first time…It took them a week to get the results from a bloodwork…I had to keep calling to ask about the results of a bloodwork and they didn't even give me the full results at the same time… talked to like 4-5 different persons about that & other concerns…By then I had already spent $500 there and they didn’t even know what my pet had but they were already sending me or “recommending” me to go to an emergency hospital to pay $3,000-$4,000 for hospitalization(I took the risk of not doing that and decided to keep having my pet with antibiotics and safe home remedies to treat an infection or until they could finally tell me what was gonna be next or where the infection was) AT LAST THEY DID NOTHING FOR MY PET. The last person I talked to even sounded like with some kind of relief when I said I was taking my pet somewhere else, she suggested that first but that day I called exactly because of that.
I DO NOT APRECIATE ANY OF THAT BUT THAT’S OK…I HAVE LEARNED A LOT.

First thing, they used to be afford a vet but raised their prices despite keeping the name on the voicemail (hopefully the tech changed it after I told her).
My first time at this clinic. I arrived 10 minutes early and waited 45 minutes past my appointment time to be called to a room. I was the only person in the lobby with one dog family in a exam room. After getting back to a room I wait another 10 minutes for a technician to come in and ask questions. Eventually, the vet came in and was done within 20-30 minutes... then you guessed it... waited another 30 minutes for a dental estimate. I finally gave up and walked out to pay. Waited there for a receptionist for 10 minutes before saying " hello anyone there?" Another technician popped her head out of what looks to be an office and asked for me to wait as she then walked to the back. I stood there waiting for another 15 minutes before she came back.
I asked if the records can be emailed to me was told yes. I spent months calling for those records. The new vet has also spent time calling and never get a answer or call back. They never answer the phone during business hours and are not open on weekends.
Waited a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes for a exam that took less than 30 minutes and a print out of a dental estimate. Definitely not worth the prices they charge.

We had to say goodbye to our sweet girl today. The staff and Doctor were top notch! The place smelled AMAZING when I walked in and was greeted by the receptionist (who was super friendly) before running test and taking X-rays I was given a breakdown of the cost and was able to make a decision. Sadly test showed our girl was in rough shape, her little cough was letting us know it was time. Our little girl was treated with dignity and care. Thank you clover.

"Clover Shows Concern for Money above the Life of our Cat" - Brought in our 7 year old Maine Coon cat last February due to reoccurring anemia. He had been isolating, stopped eating and drinking, and his gums were white. Before the visit they said they would get the recent chart history from our other Vet, but they never did obtain it. I brought the records with me that showed a recent history of low red blood cell count about 8 months before but normalized a month later. But the Vet barely looked at it. They took his blood pressure for $40, but never gave me the results, even after calling this clinic several times. They recommended either taking him into an emergency vet clinic for a blood transfusion, which they said would cost $5,000 - $7,000, or to put him down at this visit. And she was somewhat pushy about having him put down. I told them that this cost was prohibitive, and that I didn't want to put him down right now. The Vet then asked me if there were any "religious reasons" why I would not euthanize my cat during this visit. I gave her the following reasons: I needed to talk it over with my wife, he had pulled through and lived after a similar but less severe episode of anemia (as shown on the reports that I brought in), and I preferred that euthanasia happen at our home, in the cat's environment. Another factor was that the cat did not seem to be in pain while at rest, but seemed to be in discomfort when I would pick him up. I requested 3-4 times that I be given saline to give him subcutaneously at home for hydration and comfort measures, as I had done with a previous cat that I owned. She reluctantly gave it to me. After I brought him home my wife started using a syringe to feed the cat bone broth and other nutrients such as vitamin B12 (which this Vet said would not help) and liquid iron. I also gave him the recommended amount of saline 2x a day. As the week progressed, I foresaw that I would be getting low on saline within a few days and wanted to make sure I had some on hand. Also, some of the saline leaked out of the hose one night. We ordered another bag of saline online, but they requested a Vet to sign off on it. The Vet declined and never told us. I called the Vet requesting explanation and they said they would call back but never did. So we ordered the saline again and they declined again! After several phone calls the receptionist said they would not sign off on this because I was using too much saline. Even after I tried to explain to them the situation, this was their unalterable stance. They then said I could bring the cat back in. I believe it was about the money. Saline is $10 online, but $50 at the clinic, plus another visit payment. So I eventually ran out of saline, but was hoping that he was getting enough fluid from the bone broth. I then made an appointment with our previous Vet. They gave him a blood workup and prednisone pills. This seemed to perk him up a bit. Long story short, our cat "pulled through" within about 2 1/2 weeks after our Clover Vet visit, and a few days after the visit with the other Vet clinic. Our cat Chesterton started eating and drinking on his own, his stools became normal looking, he came out from isolating and started playing, climbing, running and cuddling with us again. His gums are now pink. Today he presents as a healthy 7 year old cat. Looking back, I don't know why this Vet could not give something for his impacted bowels, a steroidal injection (which I did mention at the visit) and/or prednisone pills, and recommend what we actually did? They should have just told us, "You can try to revive him if that is your wish. There may be some chance that your cat can overcome this if you do the following: Syringe bone broth, give him vitamins and iron supplement, spend some time with him to show that you want him to live." After all, shouldn't a Vet be more about the promotion of life and the wishes of the pet owner than just saying, "you should let me put your cat down now because he is really sick&q

The receptionist is super RUDE! To start off, they never answer the calls to schedule appointments. They never even show up at the front desk when you show up, and don't respond when you call out for someone. The receptionist is also very impatient while we asked questions; very patronizing and condescending. When we asked for a bill (they don't show an itemized bill) until we paid for it. When we ask what is on the bill, they rolled their eyes and read it out loud. When we go in now, we never know what they will upsell us, and we never know if it is actually helpful to our pet, or they just want to make more money. I never would recommend this place.
