Do not hire this company! If I could give no stars I would.
We have owned several properties in WA but have never owned a home in an HOA. Never again!
This HOA is poorly managed, and I blame Around the Clock for this and their lack of transparency and professionalism. As a property management company, they are hopeless. They have no clue about local, state, and federal law and provide our inexperienced board members with little support. I have never interacted with an individual with less legal experience, soft skills, and knowledge as James Tungsvik!
After several emails over the last 6 months, I have given up expecting a response. James is incapable of fulfilling his role, and he has no concept of HOA regulations, nor local, state and federal law concerning HOAs.
He is supposed to be supporting and guiding our HOA board, but he seems incapable of fulfilling his duties.
The agendas and minutes of our Board meetings are only provided at the end of the year when he uploads them, when requested by the state. Yet the state website still does not have current copies of our governing documents.
Our board members are doing their jobs in a timely manner, but James refuses to upload the board minutes and agendas. There is no transparency in this organization.
Our board meetings are rarely advertised, and the Governing Documents are out of date on the portal and Secretary of the State website. Our annual meetings happen without input from the homeowners.
As a woman, I find James' comments to be patronizing and condescending during the board meetings I have been able to attend. (Most happen behind closed doors).
I would love to improve this community, but have no interest in serving my board until we change property management companies!
James is lazy, unresponsive, uneducated, paternalistic, and offensive. Based on all of the negative reports I have read on google, James should be replaced with someone capable and interested in genuinely serving the community they are paid to support. Why is he still employed????? Paternalism?
Maybe James is burnt out, but there are plenty of individuals who care to make this world better and are looking for a job. Provide better service and someone who cares!
Why are we stuck with this dinosaur when you have more progressive and helpful staff like Cindy Smalley?
UPDATE: Thanks for the response. How would you propose I get in touch with you to discuss my concerns? No one answers your phones, returns messages, or emails. Are these just automatic responses to provide a public image of caring, responsiveness, and accessibility? Not acceptable!
Second Update: 10 months have gone by with multiple calls and emails. Still not one response from our board or Around the Clock!!

The most unprofessional and rude team I ever met.

EDIT: mailed check for HOA dues and requested I be reached out to through email. Check was cashed and still have not been reached out to. Only form of communication from them is through this negative review where a generic phone number was left, which I had already called multiple times with no answer.
I have tried every which way to get ahold of this company to no avail. Completely unresponsive despite trying to message via portal, snail mail, call, email.
The one thing they’re good at is charging fines. Do not recommend this company.

ATC manages my townhouse complex on behalf of our HOA. I think they have done a great job since I moved in back in 2008. In fact, when I relocated to another state and decided to rent out my unit, I trusted them to do their best to find me good tenants.
Cindy Smalley, my ATC agent, helped me organize home repairs, cleaning, and painting services with professionals who charged reasonable prices. She got my unit photographed, set the rental price, and promptly located qualified tenants. I am completely satisfied with Cindy’s work and with ATC.

This company is a joke. The "services" they provide are almost non-existent unless you count sending nit picky notices for the littlest things and providing nothing by snark when your FINALLY get a hold of someone. Around the Clock? Should call it, "Not on the clock," cause they take forever to return calls or emails and are probably out there waiting for the minute after christmas day to give you a notice to take down your holiday decorations.

James Tungsvik is a terrible property manager. He is unresponsive and unprofessional. Our HOA would be wise to terminate this relationship.Multiple emails and letters with no response. He has no understanding of the law or how to interpret bylaws and legal ordinances.

EDIT: I have already emailed around the clock twice, my husband the same, I have called twice and I did get a call back about a week later but I missed it- I returned the call after work with times I would be able to be reached, haven’t heard back (that was 12/6) and haven’t heard anything else.So far; minimal communication with HOA manager JAMES, hasn’t emailed back after they said we’d be fined for not hiring a service for our property. living here for almost 2yr- poor experience thus far, multiple “threats” of fines with little evidence of reasoning behind the fines from our contract provided,I see good reviews for Cindy…. Maybe she can work with us instead of James ? makes me wonder what I’m even paying HOA fees for

Cindy Smalley did a top notch job coordinating a renovation to our rental property. We live 6 hours away. She kept us in the loop during the entire project. Not a single moment of worry! Very professional and proactive. Thank you!

Poorly run and managed. Calls and emails are seldom returned. Nobody ever answers the phone. Checks go missing. Consumer beware
