Would be nice if they'd pick up their abounded fucking box truck left in our neighborhood. 3 weeks and nothing. Some bitch from budget came and confirmed the truck is no longer under contract and would get a spare to retrieve the truck, never bothered to come back.GET YOUR FUCKING TRUCK, ROB.

Horrible customer service I made an order drove one hour to this location to pick it up since only this location had trucks available the lady at the front desk was extremely rude not nice at all she literally kicked me out of there telling me she doesn’t have any trucks available even though I confirmed when I made the order that this location has trucks she was on her worst behavior I do not recommend renting trucks from this location do yourself a favor and go with U-Haul they are 100 times better

I had a 26 foot truck reserved today for our move and when we arrived at 8 am this morning the lady at the counter said there is no trucks here that run! A guy gave us a paper that had a phone number to call. Very unhelpful service for sure! When I called the number it was the not a number that could help me and they had to give me another number. Finally was able to speak with someone that took my information and was very unhelpful as well and said maybe an inventory manager would call me in 15 minutes to 2 hours! Well it’s now evening and I never heard from anyone! We needed to move today! We had movers to help us for the day! This is more than a disaster and is so unacceptable! I will report in full to the Better Business Bureau of Washington State! There is NO EXCUSE for this!

STOP!!! DON'T RENT FROM HERE.I reserved a 26' truck 3 weeks in advance and 2 days before my move they notified me they didn't have any and only had a 16'. They said they didn't know why the website allowed for this reservation since all their 26' trucks are in disrepair. In fact their yard was full of broken down trucks. I wasn't the only one as the man in front of me had reserved a 26' truck as well. I was moving 90 miles and didn't want to have to make multiple trips. 16 hours later and 360 miles we finally finished. When I returned the truck I stated I should only have to pay for half the miles and when I got my Visa they charged me the full mileage.

BEWARE BUDGET TRUCK RENTAL!!! Son reserved a 26' truck weeks ago for a move to ID from WA on Apr 17. Budget confirmed Apr 13. This morning the 16th, 1 day before, BUDGET advised they have no truck available. Son scrambling to find replacement and costs will double due to late reservation. BUDGET only offers $250 compensation. OUTRAGEOUS! Call into CEO Joe Ferraro to make this right but so far no response! BEWARE BUDGET TRUCK RENTAL!!!

Overall experience with Budget was decent. I was able to reserve a truck and transport my stuff without issue. However, I felt Budget's pricing was misleading. Insurance for the rental was about as much as the rental itself. What's misleading is that I only wanted the truck for one day, but they make you take it for two. You cannot get insurance for one day only -- you have to get insurance for the entire duration (two days). So the initial price of the rental seemed low ($130) but when you add in insurance for two days, it doubled the price. Made it much less of a great deal. It seemed like false graciousness -- like hey, you can keep the truck for the full weekend rather than one day! you just have to pay us daily for insurance on it, hah!My second issue is in regards to the use the term "reservation." My truck was sort of available. I reserved a cargo van. A day before the reservation, they called to say only a 16ft truck was available. I said okay. Arrived at pickup site and saw that a 12ft truck was in the lot, so I asked for it, and they said fine. They explained that, similar to airlines, they overbook. So when you "reserve" a truck, it's more like adding your name to a queue or something. If on that day you show up before others and a truck is there, you're set. First dibs. But if too many others show up, or someone else wants your vehicle, you might lose it. I'm sure someone who asked for a 12ft truck was dismayed to find it no longer available. Uhaul operates the same way. Drives me nuts because they use the word reservation and even require credit card details, but when you go to pick up the truck, it's clear that reservation isn't reserved. Fortunately, trucks were available during my rental time. Also, at the Kent location, there seemed to be a ton of available trucks (6+ cargo vans and maybe 20 other trucks in the lot).As for other details, the truck was simple and easy to operate. But it was a bit dirty, and driving in the rain, the tires seemed to hydroplane a bit at times. But this could just be the realities of driving trucks in the rain. Overall, the truck handled well, had decent acceleration, and had no issues. It would be nice if these trucks provided a smartphone holder so you could more easily route. As is, you have to put your smartphone in a cup tray and it's hard to see while driving.Overall, I would rent from Budget again, but it's good to always have a backup plan. Also note that if you have USAA, they do not cover moving trucks. You really do need to buy Budget's insurance. (USAA's policy coverage applies for cars, not moving trucks.)BTW, I moved a piano. I rented ramps and dollies from Home Depot. Worked well. The truck had good tie downs for webbing.
